Reading that is really inspiring, You are rocking this
It takes a lot to admit the truth to yourself and honestly I will give you a pat on the back! Because it’s not luck it’s sheer willpower and determination.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by, read and leave me such a supportive comment! It's not an easy journey for anyone and I know my success is founded in truth. Have a great day!

B - HeB Porridge, almond butter (5 syns) with part HeA milk (other part is 3 cups of tea - throughout the day!) and raspberries.
L - Ramen, 2 plums and a pot of prepared mango
D - Homemade fish cakes, fries and salad with homemade tartare sauce (tbsp lighter than light mayo 1/2 syn and gherkin). Frozen berries with natural fat free yoghurt and 1 syn of Sweet freedom chocolate sauce.

Ref Sweet Freedom chocolate sauce - 13 calories per tsp/5g. I impulse bought Brownie flavour when I was shopping on Tuesday and its really nice! So I just ordered mint, spiced orange, winter spice, coconut (which I am desperately hankering for!) and a pot of chocolate spread. They are vegan and gluten free! Can't wait to share the rest with you 😁

Weigh in and I lost 12oz. I'm down into the 15st 6 bracket now (I feel like it's moving so slowly that I need to point this out) with only 9oz to the next step down 😅
I just checked me starting weight and I've actually lost 6lb total now in 4 weeks. That feels pitiful.

Looking back through my Garmin Connect stats - I got down to 191.6 in November 2017 (which is actually only 25lbs away). I was jogging at least 3 times a week, cycling in to uni and back and I was calorie counting (maximum 1200 a day and NOT eating exercise calories). I had very dramatic losses, sts for 2 weeks at a time then 7lb+ losses followed by 2lb on, 3lb on, 7lb loss. I really don't think my body has a f*****g clue what it's doing. For this reason, I feel validated in my slowly slowly catchy monkey approach this time. Each time I've dieted before, if I'm honest, I was really only in it for a few weeks tops. This time, I'm playing the long game! The only way I can prove to myself that I am no more vulnerable when I weigh 11 stone than now is to get there and see. So I will make a deal with myself, to not be scared. To get to 155lbs and if I get assaulted as a result of my weight loss, I give myself permission to regain all the weight that I want to. Forever.

@Teasel that food needs to be in my tummy lol

And honestly weight off is better than on in our case
The slow approach will end up leaving you with healthier eating patterns that will last you a lifetime.
So for that you have to be proud that you are making this change and determined to stick with your goals.

If you mean what I think you mean then please don’t you ever let anyone have that type of control over you like that.
You are such a strong person and I admire what you are doing. And you will get to where you need to be.

You are doing really well. Be proud of what you have achieved so far and you will get to your goal. It doesn't matter how slow your weight loss and how far the target is with your determination and patience you get there and win. Yes at times it seems the weight loss is very slow & target weight is a life time away. When you get there you feel & see life differently - so many opportunities open to you e.g you fit into normal size clothes & don't have to hide behind baggy outfit, you look in the mirror and can't recognise yourself (haha) & other people can't recognise you either, you feel so confident, you have more respect for yourself, more energy, your skin looks so different, etc. Believe me as I have gone through & am going through the same. By being on here you get support & encouragement.
Stay positive, you are strong & you'll be there.

B - Almond butter and pomegranate Porridge (B) with part milk (A - other part will be in tea)
L - 4 sesame Ryvita. 3 with 40g 30% less fat cheddar one with peanut butter and some ham. I hated this "meal". My husband was adamant that we were having a "treat" but I really didn't like it, it was cloying and stodgy and I missed my fruit and veg/balance. Not letting him prepare a meal again. His intentions were good. I left one Ryvita.
D - Chinese Fakeaway night! Egg fried rice, noodles, Chinese chicken curry (totally syn free), sweet and sour pork (1.5 syns for the whole thing) and Sechuan Dan Dan (a Conservative 8 syns for the whole thing)
S - had a big dinner but I have planned some snacks tonight already

@Strawberry Madness thank you! I have decided that I need to be accountable everyday now. I get everything I need on the other days and I'm not enjoying my "Day off". Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by again 🙂

I’d seen these in Aldi before lockdown, but haven’t tried them. Great idea to stir into yogurt. I’ll be giving that a go.

@Teasel Wow cool find! I love the artwork it’s so cute

I tried yesterday in my yoghurt in an attempt to get over my craving for coconut Kitkat and failed. It did not hit the spot at all and I didn't have enough syns left to have half a bounty so I ate pickled beetroot 🤣

Mmmmm bounty.
That’s not at all helpful of me.:bolt:

Lol! It's fine, that's just how the plentiful coconut makes me feel!!

@Ravenous I was playing (virtual) board games with my family and I really wanted snacks! I ended up with beetroot because it is cold - somehow that makes sense!

B - Strawberries and banana with yoghurt
L - Hot smoked salmon, small side salad and scrambled egg on 60g wholemeal bread (B)

**Introducing (drum roll) Teasel's mocolate orange** 20200426_135037.jpg Only half a syn!

D - Slow cooker roast chicken, SW roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower and purple asparagus.

I'm seeking again tonight though. Hmm
Ham, 2 babybels (A), 2 kiwis, Bounty 28.5g so half a Bounty technically but a whole one really, because it wasn't cut, just half a packet. 7 syns

Daily syns - 7.5
Exercise - garden work again for 5+ hours. Digging out a fire pit now - exciting!!

L - Noodles with marmite and HeB cashews
D - Wholemeal noodles and chicken stirfry, I tried to make "whipped cream" with zero fat Greek yoghurt but it went thinner... Go figure. With Strawberries and blueberries.

Exercise - walk this morning. Omg, new route! Step count 10800.I wanna do today everyday. But also wanna lie in bed all day tomorrow.

B - Cup of tea and a cup of coconut coffee, what a treat! (A)
L - Crustless quiche made with bacon, mushrooms, cottage cheese with chives and eggs whizzed to make it light and fluffy with a spoon of beans.
D - Cottage pie, filling free (5% beef, onion, swede, parsnip, carrots and peas) topping 20 syns for the whole thing (boiled potatoes, 3 syns lighter than light mayo, 17 syns cheese and a vegetable stock pot) I divided it and had less than 1/4 to ensure I was under 5 syns. Dessert, found in an old summer food magazine - "ice cream" fat free yoghurt whizzed with raspberries and some coconut flavouring. 2 syns, to be safe.

Total syns - 7
Exercise - a pathetic 3000 steps today. I did get out this morning but obviously wasn't as good of a walk as yesterday.
