I wish I was a size 8 in my clothes but would be more than happy with a comfy size 14!

I'm 40 in October and dreading it. Been overweight all my life and every year I start a new diet (I know you've heard this one before!)

So, where do I start? I'm no good at counting cals, fat, etc! I've been looking at these VLCD's but with very limited funds in my account I'm not sure I can afford it.

BTW I'm currently 18st and 5'6" so need to lose around 8st

Any suggestions?

Good title as it got my attention and I like your sense of humour!:p

Have a look into Slimming World as you don't have to count calories and a lot of people have great results long term.

Here below are a few threads that will explain how it works.

welcome to the group, we all have a fair bit of weight to lose in this group and we are all doing it our own way, many are calorie counting / healthy eating, others through weight loss groups sw or ww and others through vlcds, the difficult thing sometimes is finding what works for you. I personally am doing calorie counting / healthy eating and watching carb intake and its working well for me, good luck with whatever you decide to do eating plan wise, Em x
