It's going in the right direction Jan so that's the main thing. Well done. I wondered what those slim and save products were like and why you could have 4 a day, now I understand why!!
 
Well done on the loss Jan.. The S&S are smaller then others but I do like the taste of them - I've just ordered another months supply. I'm also doing 4 packs a day (with milk allowance).
 
Official figures show a 1lb loss from what I was on 2nd July - I'm quite pleased with that (actually that's 8lbs off since a week last friday!)

I don't think I could stick to Slim & Save exclusively, there's just not enough there. At least all the exante stuff fills me up - for a while at least.

DD's been in hospital since saturday :( she was having so may 'do's' with her heart again in work that they ambulanced her to A&E (she works in a hospital as a care assistant but there's no A&E there.) I'm hoping they sort her out once and for all this time! They're talking about sending her over to Liverpool to the specialist heart and chest centre. We should know more tomorrow. I'm not letting any negative thoughts or possibilities enter my consciousness. She'll be fine :) xx
 
Well done on the overall loss Jan, fantastic.

You're right, your daughter will be fine and is definitely in the right place. Sure they'll sort things out once and for all this time.

Sorry - I'm just not getting on here .....

Jen's still in hospital - they've started her on a third sort of med since she's been there - the last 2 made her ill. She will either come out tomorrow on this med if she can tolerate it (and it works!) and be referred to Liverpool as an outpatient or be transferred to Liverpool from the local hospital as an inpatient. We still don't know but either way I'm really glad she's going to be seen by them!!

I've been excellent food wise but I AM having a few V&Cs ... & I don't care!!

I'm chasing my tail at the moment - good job I'm off work this week! Hope you're all ok. I'm not going to get round all the threads I'm sorry, but you know (I hope) that I'm interested and will get there as soon as I can. xx
 
BTW - just for a quick moan ... dunno whether I've mentioned we've been having the lounge done - it's been going on for a while. Well we had curtains made - huge bay window ... £600 ... :(. They were finally ready (after 6 weeks) last week. It took me over an hour (with my arthritic hands) to pull them to the right width and we hung them only to find that ALL of the seams (2 in each curtain coz there's 3 widths on each) show as a row of holes with daylight showing through! AND there was a whole length that wasn't joined at all!! Just sounding off because they've been tonight, taken them down and taken them back and they're going to fix them, resize the widths and rehang them .... I should think so too!! Good customer service but pity it was needed eh!!!!! x
 
That's bad about the curtains Jan and such a shame. At least they will sort them out properly for you.
 
Curtains brought back and refund thus morning so just waiting for the suite to come now ... OH and to find a shade for the standard lamp ... Can't find one anywhere!!!

I've been off work this week but have stuck to plan apart from a few v&cs. I've decided tonight I'm gonna have some chicken & salad & a glass of wine after visiting DD who's still in hospital :( hopefully she'll be out on Monday xx
 
Ooooh are the curtains all ok now? What a pain in the bum that was. How is DD doing? Do they know anymore yet?xx
 
HaHa - I've just seen I put 'refund' when I said about the curtains this morning - I wish! I meant 'rehung'!! Lol! Yes they're okay now - all the seams redone & no daylight showing. Should think so too!!

Jen's had all the heart tests known to man and they can't find any underlying cause for the tachycardia. She just keeps having runs of it. She's been attached to a monitor all the time she's been in there so at least now they've seen exactly what's going on. She won't be transferred or even referred to Liverpool because there's nothing for them to 'fix'. It's just (just!) a matter of getting the medication right. They've said she can't come out until it's under control (good imo!) She's now on her third change of meds - the first 2 made her ill - one with headaches, one with nausea AND they didn't work. Those she's on now are working but earlier today she went dizzy in the loo and banged her head and nose on the sink - she has 2 big lumps to show for it. SO I don't think they've got them quite right yet!! :( ****SIGH****

Hope they find the right medication soon - that bump looked really bad in the photo Jan, hope she's ok.. At least she's in the right place.

How's the diet going? Hard to keep on track when you've got other/more important things going on isn't it?
 
That's a shame about your DD Jan, hopefully they will get the right medication sorted out very soon!
 
Thanks guys - I appreciate the support. I think they're getting closer with her meds. She may well be home tomorrow (she's coming here for a while). Looks like the meds are now as good as they're going to get so she needs to get used to them and see where to go from there. Not brilliant but a bit better than things have been for the last week or so.

I've stuck to the 'diet' food wise but I have had V&Cs and had some wine on saturday :eek: WI this morning saw me 1.2lbs down which is good all things considered - I was just really hoping to be under 11st & as it was I was 11st0.4lbs!! :eek: I REALLY NEED to drop at least 8lbs in the next 4 weeks!! xx
 
Fab loss jan :) 8lbs in 4weeks is pretty doable if not you'll be pretty close! :) x

Not doing too brilliantly dietwise if im honest Sarah ... Dunno what's up with me :(

DD has gone back to her flat tonight after a week here following her 10 days in hospital. The condition seems to be under control which is something i suppose but i have to say I'm not thrilled at the thought of her having to spend the rest of her life on these drugs!
I guess I should try & be glad they're available and they work ... :eek: x
 
I didn't post that I had a sts last week - I'll be lucky to have that this week :( I wish I knew what was up with me and blocking me!!! Boooo! I won't be weighing tomorrow because I'll only have a few hours sleep and that would deffo be inaccurate - I'll see whether I feel like wi on tues. xx
