D - Co-Op sweet chilli Chicken Meal with added vegetables (mushrooms/onion/pepper/courgette) - 400 Calories
Supper - 2 small brown bread, 2 poached eggs = 300 calories
Snacks - Snackajacks (89), 2 x tangerines small (30), 1 x oxo cube (15) = 134 calories
Drinks - water all day
Exercise - 2 mile walk (To and from work brisk pace) 1 hour Zumba
Total Calories = 1160 Calories

Wednesday 25th May

B - 2 small warburtons small seeded bread, b/m chicken slice - 191 calories
L - Salad (Lettuce/ spring onion/ Peppers/ tomatoes/ cucumber) with chicken breast and 2 small bits of dried bacon - 200 calories
D - Chicken breast, mushrooms, pepper, onion, courgett korma curry (ww sauce 1/3 jar (36 cal)), with 200g rice (205 cal) and 100g chips (86 cal - potatoes made with 1 cal spray) = 463 calories
Snack - Tangerine (15 cal), Snackajacks (89 cal) - 104 calories
Drinks - water all day
Exercise - 2 mile walk (Fast pace) 15 min walk with dog also
Total calories = 958 Calories

Thursday 26th May
B - Cereal and Milk - 150 calories
L - Salad (Same as yesterday but added carrots) = 200 Calories
D - 200g Cooked Pasta (260 calories), Chicken Breast 100g (116 calories), 1/5 sauce (50 calories) tomato and chilli, Vegetables (Carrots/onion/Mushroom/Peppers) = 456 Calories
Supper - Cereal small box and milk - 113 Calories
Snack - 2 x ww yoghurt (100 calories), 2 x tangerines (30 Calories), Snackajacks (89) = 229 Calories
Drinks - Water all day
Exercise - 2 mile walk (fast pace)
Total = 1148 Calories

Sounds like things are going well so far. I found the first few days the hardest, then I kind of settled into it and it's been ok since then.

Good luck. Hope tomorrow goes well too :)

Thanks girls :) Yesterday i took a day off (Not very good considering iv just started, but has been planned for weeks and was at an Indian so no way i would have known how to count) its straight back on it today will post later todays diary just off to shops for this weeks meals :) well ingredients for meals! I appreciate your posts and well wishes

Saturday 28th May

Brunch - ww yoghurt = 50 Cals, Melon (30 calories) = 80 Calories
Dinner - Noodles (150 cals), Chicken (116 Calories), Vegetables stir fry (Mushrooms, peppers, courgette, celery, onion, cabbage, beansprouts 50 calories), Lemon Sauce (Blkue dragon 80 calories), ww Doughballs 1.2 packet (134 calories) = 530 Calories
Snack - small apple (60 calories), Crisps (165 calories), Chocolate (120 calories)
Drinks - Water
Exercise - 2.07 mile walk with dogs
Total Calories = 955 Calories

Sunday - went out for a chinese buffet so had this and a roll and boiled egg all day :( my bad!!

Monday 30th May
B - Cereal - 113 Calories
L - Salad (Chicken Satay sticks small *6 = 17 * 6 = 102 Calories), with Lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, spring onion, red onion, rocket, red pepper) = total 200 calories
D - Asda carbonara meal (430 calories), added vegetables at side (Carrots/brocolli/courgette/celery - 50 calories) = 480 Calories
S - pop tart (120 calories), Cereal (150 calories)
Drinks - Water all day (Diet coke 1.5 calories)
Exercise - 2.5 mile walk with dogs
Total = 1064.5 Calories

Drumroll.......last night weighed myself to see how first week went and iv lost.............5lbs :) i know its going to go much slower now haha assuming most that water retention!

Tonight i have my Zumba class! Will update diary tomorrow!!

D - 1/2 ww pizza (223 Cals), Chips (150 Cals), Heinz kids carbonara tin 1/2 (65 cals)
Supper - cup a soup (56), 2 bits small brown bread (100 Cal)
Exercise - 1.5 mile walk and zumba
Drinks - water all day
Total = 1135 Cals

S - 1/2 bananna (50)
L - Sub of day subway with sauce (350 calories)
S - WW Yoghurt (50 calories)
Plan for later -

D - Spaghetti Bolognase (home made with chopped tomatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms and courgette small amount pasta and lean beef mince - approx 500 Calories)
Supper - cup a soup (56 calories)
Drinks - water all day
Exercise - 2 mile power walk, 1 mile walk with dogs
Total = 1127 Calories

mmmmmmmmm, have you tried quorn mince? Cuts the fat and the cals and I think it makes the sauce taste less fatty... OH hates it less fatty, but tough he can eat beef on his own time, skinny bumhead!!! lol!!! x

We had chilli with quorn last week and that got approval from OH, I think the spices disguised the lack of fatty flavour so he didn't mind it so much. x

Mmmm quorn chilli!! Rosemary connely does a wicked good quorn chilli recipe :) it's really yummy. My husband won't eat it after reading 'fungus' on the ingredients list!!

I've never taken to Quorn.Mabye I'll give it another go.

Im lucky i love it :) going to have quorn chicken pieces tomorrow in my chilli :) yummm!!!

D - gammon steak, chips and salad (400 calories)
S - double nougat ice cream (approx 400??)
Drinks - diet coke (1.5) and water rest day
Exercise - 1.5 mile walk with dogs
Total = 1135.5 calories

Well done on your loss! I'm okay with quorn. Don't mind it too much. Can't stand tofu though.
