Laura's last EVER diet!!

I don't eat fish, but my OH introduced me to the fish finger sandwich and every now and then it's just what I fancy! I might have them as a kiddy tea with SW chips next week.

Pastry is a killer for me! Just that mention of filo pastry has got my mouth watering! Sounds lovely.

I know what you mean about being stuck around the 2 stone mark forever. My 2.5 stone award feels blooming miles away. My next mini-milestone is 2lbs away - at which point I'll have brought my BMI down 6 points. Then it's 1.5lbs to my 2.5 stone, then it's 0.5lbs to having lost 20% of my starting weight (and getting into the healthy BMI range). I just want to get there!

The sandwhich sounds gorgeous, i think that's going to be on the menu for tomorrow night's dinner ;) yum!

Wow laura and Ms Lyrical, I feel you have both given me a lot of inspiration. Thank you :)

Laura, i totally get you and you are right as thas exactly where I am lately. I'm at the point where I feel rotten! I'll enjoy my weekend away and tuesday morning is a frest start and i'll be following SW 100% till my holidays in May! BIG plans to lose this weight once and for all :)

Ps you are very right, SW is a dream. I need to appreciate that and FOLLOW it!
Xx

Yay! I love the sound of that babe, lets do it! When i get back its 8 weeks till my holiday. I'm aiming for 2 pounds a week so that's 16 pounds but i would LOVE 20 as i know i'll but on 5/6 when i'm away so id still like to have that stone loss by the time I get back!

Any holidays planned yourself? How's the new house going? :) x

That's so kind of you love but after having pastry in the new year I got mega cravings for it. Not a good thing in land of the pasty! That's so lovely she made you an individual one though. You make me giggle with your weetabix minis. I used to love snacking on them dry. I hate them with milk!

Hey, your BMI is nearly under 30! *jealous* What's your aim for this week? I'm hoping for 2.5lbs myself. should I stop eating everything in the house!

I'd like another 2lbs off this week, not sure if I will do it, but going to have a bloody good go, 100% every day and hope for the best. Really I'd be happy with 1lb a week which would have me at target by Xmas eve at the latest, and even sooner if I have a good couple of weeks to give me a kickstart! Would love 1.5-2lbs a week, but know it just doesn't always work like that :) so will just keep plodding on and get there when I get there :)

My MIL does slimming world too :) its great as whenever we try a new recipe we take some round for the other to try...and she is a fab cook so I deffo drew the long straw haha!

Soo pleased its thurs... I'm having the week from hell and it's my PPA time this afternoon, lots of work to get done but at least I can hide in the office and just crack on!!

Have a good day everyone! X

Heehee chicken dippers. Sounds fun!

Haha I know, trying to use stuff up in the freezer, I may change my mind if I decide to have some chocolate tonight though and make something free :) we'll see!

I'm currently just chilling out in bed catching up on here, usually I'm on my way to work and fully dressed. God bless the broken boiler! Mind you most schools would just let everyone have a day off, not just the kids - but ho hum, a Friday lie in is better than a kick in the teeth haha! I've decided so long as I get home a little earlier I will go for a run today, really need to make a start, and if I end up working til normal time I will force OH into going for a run tomorrow!

Had a cheeky serial weigh this morning, and it's looking good - was showing 11st 6.5. Obvs it's early morning and I'd just been to the loo etc, but I've got 4 full days until weigh in to try and get it to say that at 7pm on tues haha!

This is such a luxury laying in not forcing myself to get out of bed! Lovely! And my gorgeous OH gets home tonight and is planning a date night for us tomorrow which I know nothing about...can't wait! Xx

Aww sounds great. Loving the positivity hun :) fingers crossed for a good result Tuesday

Thanks Fran! I'm feeling telly positive about it at the min too, feel like I'm finally back to the old me, and I know one bad day could knock me off track this early on so I'm being saintly for as long as possible haha!

How are you my love? X

Ok - so there is a bootcamp near me which is reasonably cheap and sounds ideal for spurring on weight and inch loss quite quickly...I really fancy it and you can do it pay as you go for £3.50 a time, or £25 a month which I would pay if I ended up enjoying it and wanting to go 3x every week.

HOWEVER - I'm REALLY nervous that everyone there will be really fit and skinny and beautiful and I won't be able to keep up! I inboxed them yesterday asking about ability levels etc and they haven't got back to me yet...what do you think? X

Eep, I hope those scales stay down. Mum said I looked slim today (lol, yeah at 15 stone I'm real slim!) But hopefully I will be in for a nice loss this week too. I had better if I'm doing 3 red days!

I would say go for it. It is like the swimming thing. I have always been big and at uni I would swim a mile a day minimum. No one gave two hoots what I looked like because they were busy worrying what others thought of them, and if they did care what I looked like I didn't notice or care because I was focusing on the task at hand, which was beating my last time. I did get asked if I was a strong swimmer once, but that was because it was a new lifeguard and the pool was at full length (olympic sized) and I think it was just routine, nothing to do with my size. I'd just go and get on with it and see if you like it. Don't let the fear of what others might think of you stop you from doing anything. You live your life and bugger anyone trying to stop you. (not literally obviously)

Well I ended up flexi synning last night to around 50 (eek!!) for pizza takeaway! Was good though, and I'm having a green day today to try for a bit of damage limitation, I had only had 1/2 syns before tea last night so wasn't as bad as it coulda been.

Hi everyone :) well it's weigh in tonight and I think I'm going to have a gain :-( partially to blame are a couple of naughty weekend treats, pizza and a muffin - but I think it's more to do with totm and the fact that I've started running again? Hoping it will be back off next week!

I'm working from home today (which, as a teacher is unheard of!) but the boiler has packed in at work. It happened last weds and we've been in every day since until today, but I've not had kids in since Thurs morning! Came home yesterday afternoon for PPA, but still feeling rotten with this earache and fell asleep on the couch!! Got docs at 10 then I'm going to come home and spend the day doing assessments - a very boring task but oh so pleasurable to be doing it at home in my comfy clothes with the heating on...especially when school has been soooo cold!!! I've been going in in a thirty, 2 jumpers and a coat!!! Would much rather have the kids in if we are in, as time goes quicker, I teach nursery but was in with year 6 yesterday - really out of my comfort zone haha! It's all quite exciting not knowing from one day to the next, but I've been told that nursery will be last back as there is no way to heat that end of the school! Easter hols are getting closer and closer haha!! Also getting my asda shopping delivered today rather than on thurs/Friday night, such a treat!!

Well I'd best get up and ready for the docs! Have a good day everyone!! Xx
