M-Mouse's Droppings

I did make a rhubarb crumble a couple of times with oatbran and that was nice. To be honest I don't REALLY want it any more I don't think - long may it continue!!

I have kind of fallen into my monotonous way of eating chicken and
fish and not a lot else:D

Have a good weekend all.

Mouse - typical. You get ME addicted to your Goji cake (I still announce to OH that I'm off to make a "Mouse Cake") and then turn to chicken and fish yourself ;) (Are you sure you're not slipping in and out of ketosis?)

Oh gojis. They are tolerated now, so not had them for ages. Or maybe they are no longer tolerated and we can have them?

Manda, I have highs and lows of being creative. This week has been a low week of chicken, fish and eggs. I need to get cooking again!

Oh dear going on a 3 hour chocolate making course this afternoon! I am saving my gala meal for a roast at Mum's tomorrow so maybe I will just havr to save some chocolate until then :(

It was good thanks and I told myself I could ignore the chocolate fountain too! However the thing started with a bit of a talk and the chap passed around a box of swiss buttons for everyone to try and I didn't want to draw attention to myself and had one - so then decided that together with a couple of trips to the choc fountain, that would be my gala instead of the roast today!!

Well we tried the Swiss buttons that are in the fountain and he told us not to eat cadburys because they take the cocoa butter out of their chocolate and dd hydrogenated fat instead. G & Blacks (still owned by cadburys) was in his opinion better chocolate. Then we made a ganache filling with cream and melted chocolate and piped it into sausages. These we cut up and shaped for the middle of our truffles. Then we had to sort of massage them in melted chocolate and then dipped them in icing sugar, cocoa or biscuit crumbs. Packed them into bags and brought them home.

I disagree. (Don't ask me how I know!)

We can get Cadbury's chocolate here now, also saw some Crunchie biscuits advertised (not keen on biscuits though and didn't enjoy the last crunchie I ate).

Nice chocs, Manda. Glad you enjoyed the course.

Enough food porn for today.
:D

Yes enough!! I think my period of Dukan has made me better able to stop and say 'enough'. I can have a little of what I fancy occasionally on conso but stop afterwards!
