Mia's Food Diary (Red days)

I think I'll find them difficult. I have one red day planned out for next week. I'm not sure I can do a whole week. I'll have to see how the weight loss goes. Carb cravings are the worst though. I think it's a lot of people's downfall, for me it's bread every time. I've been mostly trying to avoid it. ;)
 
Me too, i love potatoes, bread and pasta and i just cant loose weight unless they are controlled portions....so its not very interesting on red days. You could do 4 days green and 3 red, but you are loosinf weight so just keep doing what you are now! x
 
Saturday (day 20) - decided to do one green day a week as im missing my carbs

Green day

B: Weetabix (HEB) milk (HEA)

L: Egg and baked beans

D: wholewheat pasta (onions & mushrooms), salad (olive oil HEB), parmesan (HEA)

SW flapjack (6 syns) Curly wurly (6 syns)

Note:

Flapjacks cut into 9 (6 syns each)

All bran cake serves 6 (3.5 syns each)

I did a red day today Mia, for the first time and it wasn't so bad ;). I think I might do it again. I thought I'd be hungry but I'm not at all.

How was the SW KFC you did? Was it any good? and how are you getting on? x
 
Hello hun

Its going good! I do struggle with lunch sometimes as i dont always want eggs, chicken, ham etc....think i might make some soups.

I didn't like the KFC chicken :( it was really salty, but i might try it again with not so much chicken stock paste and using thighs as the breast was really dry.

I really enjoyed my desert last night, i was so nice :D

Some people have mentioned the quorn burgers are really nice and some are free, which i didnt know about so im going to get some for tonights dinner see what they are like x
 
Thursday (Day 25)

Hi hun, sorry my diary isnt very detailed is it...i need to start putting down more info.

I used cauliflower, carrot and brocolli in the mash and mixed it with some fat free yoghurt and grated reduced fat cheddar cheese, salt & pepper....topped with fried (frylight) mushrooms and onions :D I love my veg x

I like the sound of that. I think I'll try it on my next red day.

Quorn burgers are nice and your dessert the other night sounded extremely nice. I must invest in some mini meringues.
 
The desert was really nice! I had it last night too but had one trifle sponge this time, its worth the 5.5 syns. Onken fat free strawberry yoghurt is the best x
