MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

That's a deal! How long has it taken you to lose 9 stone? For me it seems like such a long journey! I will celebrate achieving the 1/5th of my target - but sometimes it feels like too big a mountain to climb

Thanks for the tips on my new 'erb. Will try at the weekend :)

As for today, weird one. Was going very dizzy this morning to the point I nearly blacked out. Spoke with NHS direct over my concerns at that linked with my bite and they told me to go to the hospital within the hour. So, took myself down and got checked out.
Turns out, totally unrelated problems and my BP is normal and I'm to go get checked out and have bloods done by my GP. I'll probably sort that out next week or summat.
Arm update!!

As for the bite, it is an actual bite! Confirmed spider bite from le doctor! They checked for tracking and there is none so I guess I get to keep my arm woo! A nice shiny gauze with sulphur on it has been put on (after they de-roofed the blister and cleaned it all out) and this will draw out all moisture. Got to keep my eye on it but keep covered for 7 days minimum (unless it becomes painful or red out side of the gauze).

Food for the day hasn't been much due to feeling icky, but I did manage to finally find sone lemon drizzle alpen light bars in Asda woo!

Breakfast - 1 alpen light lemon drizzle bar (unsure if half HexB or synning yet) and a banana

Lunch - bowl of curried parsnip and apple soup 1/2 syn, bowl of fruit salad - whole mango, pineapple and passionfruit.

Soup looks like dishwater in the blue bowl

2 years. It was my SW birthday on the 17th March :) it may seem like a long journey but its one that is definitely worth it. And having mini goals helps. Like mine were - every half/full stone, lose 50lbs, lose 100lbs, get into the next stone bracket, drop a dress size, get under 80kg (that's a weird one to do with lifts... :D) but it helped me hugely.
Mountains get climbed, avalanches can happen, but you can always just get back up and march on through. We're all here to help xx

Thanks minky. I am trying to focus on the smaller targets - like the 2 stone, club 10, etc rather than looking on too far ahead and thinking "there's no way" you personally inspire me as I look at you and think - I can do it too!thanks for all your support xxx

If I showed your arm to my DH he would literally freak out. He is terrified of spiders. Fine with everything else, but a teeny weeny wee spider...

Hope it clears up quickly.

ha ha! Men are funny. My OH lived in Australia for a couple of years when he was younger and his dad woke him one morning saying 'look at the size of this!' - the boy opened his eyes and there was a spider bigger than his dads open palmed hand above him sleeping! His dad banged the roof and it fell on his chest n scurried away. I. Would. Have. Died. Xx

Food shop has just been delivered. As I'm doing lemon chicken this week and I fancied a try at a lemon moussey kinda desert I ordered 4 lemons. Normal. Ah but alas, they didn't have 4 loose lemons so was subbed.

With 3 bloody bags of 'em!!

I now have 15 lemons waiting to be used! Made me right chuckle! Xx

Your poor arm! Least you know what it is now though & can get it sorted properly. No more sleeping in the bath for you!
