Moo's year - 24 st start and restart

Good morning everyone - sun is up in sky and its time to begin with new beautiful day.
Im doing good with planing. Did not think it will be so easy to do things from menu but so far Im doing good. ( lol, lets be honest it have been 4 days ). We will do it again next week. Menu and shoping list and will try to go by it. Too early to say if it saves money or not, but every little grey thing in my head says - it will save money. Next week new month starts. Will be able to know more in sept if I manage to keep manus up for next 5 weeks.
Hez- thank you again. You make me so happy. When I started to put my meal photos up here it was for me. It was my food diary now I try to have different things on my plate so photos wont get too boring :)
What diet you will put your girl to? At age 16 and being so young I think everything would work, especially when she wants to work out too. I would highly recommend slimming word for her, as it not only help her to lose some weight but will teach her to make right choice food-wise. Anyway - what ever you two doing - best of luck. I wish all the best for her, I wish I could go back in time and start healthier life stile back then. :)
Personal trainer is very good idea. Some of them come to your house. Im happy to have my trainer but Im glad hes bot pushing me with any diets. I read in fb that someone is trying to get personal trainer and all trainers have refused as she is doing sw and trainers want her to follow hes food plan. Thats a shame , as I can understand trainer wants to make sure you have results but do we really have to be so strict. I always look at those tv shows where people lose craze amount of weight in 9month or a year and then have so much lose skin. Im so unhappy about those boys and girls. They work so so hard. Push every limit in there bodies. Have low calorie diet. And at the end , they have so much lose skin and not everyone can get the skin removal operation. Yes you lost weight but you not beautiful. Hex not even ok with yourself. Its so sad and wrong too. No one should feel this. After doing so much work and feeling unhappy with your body.
Im very worried about skin. Honest. Thats why I try to not lose more then 2 kg /4 lbs in week overall so far Im doing good. Use my coco butter and toning work out. Ofc I will have lose skin but hopefully not so much that I need surgery after.
Back to today :)
Today I have long day at work again but Im prepared have my slow cooking chicken ready to go :)
And believe me Haz for our staff veggies with cheese souse is better then have chips or fries every day. Im surprised how can people just keep eating fries. I could give them fries every day and they would be happy.

Breakfast - overnight oat with syn free cherry yogurt. Coffee 1 syn and orange.

New challenge for me , lol - I start a lot of challenges but never go til end. I mean I did do 3 weeks of ab challenge but then I got ill and after 2 weeks it was just too hard to go back . Will have to leave it for now as KB challenge takes my time now. For 2 days now I have been doing plank at home, make my hubby to make sure Im on right position and count seconds. My personal trainer makes me do plank every week and its hard, so I was thinking to practice at home =) As plank takes only 20 sec at first and this only is not only but "ONLY - help me god- only" , I was looking another "only" challenge and found wall-sit.
So here we go , my one month challenges starting today =) Wish me luck xx

Day 5 lunch.
Slow cooking chicken with carrots, potato and onions. Fresh salad with mayo and low fat yogurt (2 syns) and spice tomato sauce.

Had to bring my ipad to work, as i had a very busy day! An the phone is a pain in the bottom, with my fat fingers lol<br>well firstly did my walk, and surprise surprise i actually jogged 4 times whilst doing it. So my time was 17:22 mins/secs :) 2 neighbours saw me jogging lol not a pretty sight haha<br>omg i saw your breakfast picture, and thought you actually had a strawberry shake&nbsp;<img src="http://g.static.mmscdn.com/smilies/confused.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Confused" smilieid="10" class="inlineimg">, then i read what it was lol a funny moment that. Your lunch looks like a dinner to me :) as always it looks mighty fine :) nom, nom :)<br>I screenshot the monthly challenge plan.... I don't think i would be able to plank! Evening. Busy day at work. Did some extra planing today and planed cookies to my day :p had 3 -3,5 syn for one. That makes 10,5 syn's and daily total 15 :)
So my dinner was chicken with couscous and fresh salad (1,5 syn)

There is one more thing I want to share. Well actually even two. First thing is that 1 week ago I started the KB challenge and they say "all who took a part of this challenge could see results." I did video of my first work-out , well my hubby did and only last part and I had my photos done. So I could go back and see is this really as good as they say.
And it is. First - only one week have passed but Im not so tired after workout like I was when I started. Second on photos you can see little changes and just where I want to see change. Its my legs and soft spot. Honest you can see change in one week. Cannot wait what week 5 will bring.
All this made me very happy ofc so I got my new dress out. And for the first time over years and years. Maybe 5 years. I wear a dress without leggings. Was scared that my legs will rub on one another and I will come back in pain. But was willing to risk. Guess what !! Im totally fine. :D unbelievable. Ofc I didnt run marathon walked only 15 min from bus and to bus but thats 15 min without any leggings. And god how warm and soft wind is. My legs were in paradise :)
Had little Marilyn moment too. But it just made me laugh.

Hez well done on your work-out. You really going for it aren't you. :) And your getting faster all the time. In so sort time you got so far. So excited for you. And when you get your nice new gear you will want to even more to be out there :D
One day we can do marathon together if we continue like this :D well don hun, well done

well done you with your dress :) x you really have given 100% to all this, so thats a really nice reward to get. I dont do dresses lol id say the last dress i wore was a bridesmaid dress, before that probably my wedding dress (that was like 22 years ago :), I'm not a dressy kinda gal)

Thanks solange. We just ramble on lol we both really like to talk, a lot. It definitely keeps me on the straight and narrow, and her food always looks delicious. I come every day and get my fix haha. Shes just so inspiring :)

Been good today, did my KB, plank and wall sit challenges. Had breakfast and lunch and now have to run to work ( not sunning ofc, lol - will take bus ) but heres my pic from day 6

plank is awesome - made a massive difference to my tummy. It really sucks but the thing that makes it bearable is that it doesn't take that long! Even if you only last 30 seconds or a minute - it's over before you know it!

It's become second nature for me now - like brushing my teeth. I don't even think about it anymore :)
 
Hi Hez doing ok thanks. I am not sure what the plank is! Would you lovely ladies enlighten me. I have the feeling you lay on your side, raise up on one arm?! :confused:
 
Morning everyone. I have a confession to make :(...... I didn't do my walk yesterday. By the time i got home from shopping and had a shower it was out to work again. So I'm just up now and I'm on my first shake, i will do my walk after. And go again before my shower for work this afternoon, i did some aerobics at 3am just 20 mins though as i was tired :( other than that I'm still on the lipotrim 100%. hopped on the scale this morning and 18st 12lbs so I'm happy out :)
@solange i didnt know what the plank exercise was i had to google it. Lol but destamia is girl to explain all lol

@destamia food looks fab as always, you are one mighty cook :) my reception on my phone kept coming and going last night at work, i typed out a long thing, and it kept disappearing :( gave up in the end lol

hi solange - that's side plank you're describing and is pretty advanced. Plank is an exercise which gets every single muscle working from your pelvis up to your shoulders.

I'll post a pic from my phone.

Hez - it defo was not easy when I first started so totally get it if it's a challenge. That's one thing I love about fitness though - you can make massive improvements way quicker than you can make massive improvements in the scales. As I'm discovering at the moment :-(

@blondcat thats very true, once you start moving at all. You can see an improvement virtually every day :) looking at that picture, and being this size. It looks impossible to me :0
 
Good morning everyone :) glad to see you. I finished late last night and started early this morning. Havent had time to write or even take photo of my food. But better get this out of my way :)
Day 7 breakfast
Coffee X3 (i did say it was early :p) 3syns
Cottage cheese. Banana. Crisp bread and soft cheese (he) with bacon and tomato, cucumber. Boiled egg
I must say, not happy with the lack of veggies on my plate but I was in hurry and did not have time to make salad.

Now about plank. Its true. At first its crazy hard. Only to get to right position is crazy hard. Keep yourself up for 10 sec is impossible. But it comes. I remember year ago when I first come a cross with plank and did try it right away it wasnt so hard. Maybe its because my arse was up to sky , lol. Did try once and forgot about it.
In here my trainer makes me do plank. At first he didnt make me to get to right position but now hes merciless. Thats why I started this challenge. To get better with it. I could not do it alone. If I dont have boot in my arse and someone to tell me " lower" I would never be able to do it. :)
And if I can do it. Everybody can. I weight 19 st 6 ( to be perfectly honest - planing to be 19 st 2 tomorrow in grp and get my 5 st award :D ) back to plank. And I have huge belly. Its almost touching the floor but I do it. I made my hubby to film me. So I could see how it looks like, lol - looks like its not hard at all. Hope that in month time or few I will see something else. :D
Will try to get photo up so you could see how it looks like.
Btw - anyone knows whats wrong with me that Im not ashamed of my looks ? For first time in my life Im not scared to upload my photos. Maybe its because this time I know I'll make it :D

Hez do not worry about your walk. :) life comes sometimes. I think it is more important to rest before work then be tired. And as you work every day and night you doing so well already. Plus nice job. Under 19 stones. I bet you in heaven 7 :) keep going girl :)
 
Solange. Its my dream to do side plank one moment. I wonder if I would put books under my side- would it still count :p
We all learning new things here. This is so great site and so lovely people in here :)
