    I'm going to follow in the steps of you guys and try to keep a daily food diary. My plan is to stick to around 1400 calories a day. I will assess how it turns out after a week or two and then if it's not working lower the amount. Weekends are going to be difficult as I tend to lose track of how many drinks I'm knocking back lol... Not going out for another 2 weeks though so I'll get a good start.
    Also, I'm logging my calories daily with the iPhone app Myfitnesspal which is actually making it alot easier to stay on track. Ok here's todays.....

    Breakfast; slice of toast with butter - 197 calories
    Snack; special k mini breaks - 99 calories
    Lunch; cheese & cucumber sandwich with walkers lights crisps. - 405 calories
    Dinner; Tescos pasta meal & salad - 621 calories
    Snack; Tesco lighter choice mousse - 75 calories
    Total; 1397


    I also did 30 minutes on the exercise bike and went for a little walk
    Ok going to try not to sneak a midnight snack later lol!

    I think today went ok;

    Breakfast; brown toast with small bit of cheese - 213 cal

    Lunch; cucumber and low fat humous roll no butter - 200 cal
    Carrot and coriander cup a soup - 60 cal

    Snack - Tescos lighter choice mousse - 75 cal

    Dinner; 2 thin pancakes with lemon juice and tiny bit of sugar. (not sure how many calories but the rest adds up to about 560 so hopefully didn't go over 1400!

    I also did about 5 hours of cleaning/ clearing out old furniture which felt like a good workout lol
