New Beginnings

Afternoon Ladies,

Well a busy morning for me, I have done 4 loads of washing, ironing, changed the bed, hooovered all through and dusted everywhere, prepared dinner, now its meeeeeeeeee time.

Food Today.

B - 30g porridge, skimmed milk and water, 1 hard boiled egg.
D - Chilli, Roast Pots made with frylite, brussels, carrots, LF yogurt.
T - Lentil Soup, 2 ryvita with hummous. Fruit.

1-2 glasses of wine with dinner, but no more as I am driving in the morning. I have an appt with my next door neighbour, we are going to see Mr G in Caerphilly, he is a Medium who has a really good reputation. Cant wait, I have not been to a medium in about 5 years.

Nothing like blitzing through the housework and it's a good workout too! You'll have earned the couple of glasses of wine!

A v.productive day for you today then Mary. Food looks fab too. How much fry lite do u use when making roasters?

Let us know how u get on with the medium tomorrow. I'm not sure what I make of them I think I'm one of those who has to experience it before believing it! Xx

Oooo let's know how it goes with the medium mary :). Hope you enjoyed your wine :D x

Hahaha, Yes I enjoyed the wine, but the 2 glasses led to a whole bottle and then 3 bacardi and cokes lol. At least I got out of the driving though, Phill drove this morning.

I finally had my talk with Phill last night, it has cleared the air and he apologised - at least I can put it behind me now.

The medium turned out not to be a medium, but he read my palms and also done the tarot cards and another set of cards. He was actually really spot on with most things. He did tell me one thing though, he foreseen a car accident, grey car, foreign, 57 in the plate and a coloured blanket on the back set........wow how uncanny I thought, exactly my car.......grey, 57 plate, Citroen, and Maiseys multi coloured blanket on the back seat. He advised me to remove the blanket, because the accident had a multi coloured blanket, so if I removed it, then it will change things. Needless to say that the blanket is now removed and a nice plain brown one has taken its place

Food.

B - Porridge, skimmed milk, water. 1 boiled egg.
L - Lentil soup, 3 ryvita with LF mayo and wafer thin ham.
D - 3 bird roast, roast potatoes, brussels, carrots. Probably a yogurt for desert.

Definitely cant drink much tonight as I have bloods tomorrow morning.

Tesco have a special offer on, so I bought Disaronu and Cointreau for £11 each, and a £13 box of Thorntons chocolates down to £6. These are now SECURELY put away in the Xmas cupboard :D

It's nice stocking up the Christmas drinkies!!!!

Ooooh, glad you've removed that blanket! Were you a little spooked when he said that? i'd be sceptical that he had seen me drive up there or someone working for him had and thats why he mentioned it. I'd be thinking all sorts haha I guess i really do need to try it before i believe it lol

Asda have a £13 box of guylian (my faves) down to £5 at the moment i'm so tempted but have resisted so far!! x

I've always been a bit skeptical too Mary but I would love to experience it to see if I could hear from my Mum. I would be quite scared to actually give it a go though! Glad the chocs are away!x

Hmmm - spooky about the car thing - I'm glad you've changed the blanket - we'll never know if he would have been right but in those circumstances we'd rather not eh!!

Ooooh! Disoranu for £11??!! I didn't see that :D ... Those chocs though - they always have them at gift type times - xmas. easter, mothers day etc, and they're always £6 - just so you know ;)

Those guylian sound really tempting Tan ;) xx

Yes, I guess I was a little spooked, but as soon as that blanket was removed, I felt better. My next door neighbour came with me, and he was spot on with everything he said to her as well.

Food today.

B - Porridge, 1 boiled egg.
L - 2 ryvita, chicken, turkey, crab sticks. Yogurt and pineapple.
D - Roast pots, fine beans, brussels, carrots, chilli.

Back to work tomorrow, sheesh, these four days off have flown past.

Got all my Xmas pressies wrapped up today, so I could find what else I needed to buy, so next four days off will see me finished. Just a few bits and bobs to get now - whoooppeeeeee, and thankfully thats the wrapping all done - my pet hate, wrapping gifts.

Ooooh I only have a couple things left to buy on monday and thats me done too. I'm looking forward to my night in, by myself, bottle of wine, wrapping presents, listening to xmas songs/xmas movie. I love it every year! haha

xx

Uh oh, I had a chocolate fest this afternoon, I had 7 thorntons chocolates and 2 after eights, why did I buy them :banghead:

Oh well, whats done is done, but I did make up for it, I didnt have any veggies with dinner, just the roast potatoes and chilli :D

WI tomorrow, and I am definitely NOT eating any chocolate tomorrow.

Menu for tomorrow is

B - Porridge, skimmed milk and water.
S - Small apple
L - Small portion of left over chilli, cous cous.
S - 2 tangerines.
D - Shepherds Pie, fine beans, carrots, brussels. LF Yogurt, Pineapple.

NO CHOCOLATE.

Also taking 1.5 litres of water to work with me.

I don't know what you're worried about - not having veggies will have well made up for having those chocs ..... I wish I'd thought of that :sigh: .... ;)

Good Luck for wi xx

Great news Jan, not eating those veggies saved me - I lost 2lb..........woohooo.

Now we know the secret trick girls,..............eat choccies, ban the veg :p:p

Well done on the loss ... great new plan ;) xx

Wooohoooo for the core plan!! It goes to show when you have something that works then stick with it! Well done on the loss!!

Thank you both. I know the plan worked for me pre LT days, and its something I am comfortable with. I dont usually eat much in the way of processed foods anyway, and 98% of my foods are usually freshly cooked, or batch cooked and frozen, so it does fit in with my lifestyle.

Actually just reading on WW online and it is still going, although its now tweaked and called Filling and Healthy. Just reading on the changes, but I may just stick to the old way I know.
