I really can't believe the ammount of option you have on this diet!! Its fab. Im not missing carbs/sweets/chocolate at all. I guess I delt with that addiction when I went onto the CD. What are you up to today? Im very proud of myself, made a sweet cinemon mim and a cheese/garlic butter one for work to share with my friend :).

Fed up cos I am 1lb up on last week :(

Oh its horrible when that happens isnt it. Do a kitosis stick just to remind yourself that your still eating your own fat...slowly but surely! x x

Its not called Alpro light but its says 0.1 for carbs and sugars??

I will put it as 1 carb out of my allowance jut incase? Do you think this is alright>
 
Right here is my plan for food for the rest of the day,

Breakfast

1/2 cup of mushrooms-4 carbs?
1 fried egg in extra virgin oil
3 LC sausgaes-0.5 carb
soya milk for tea for the day 1 carb (alpro soya, 0.1 carbs,0.1 sugar)

Lunch.

1/2 cinemon mim. 1/2 cheese/garlic mim with butter - 6 carbs.
Cheese string- 1 carb
LC sauages-0.5 carb

So far 13carbs.....

Dinner

Have to eat at work. Have ordered the chicken option.
Am determind to only what I am am allowed :).

Mushrooms are very unlikely to have 4g carbs in. Probably 1g at most. Have a look at a site called myfitnesspal and look up the actual carb counts of what you're eating.

Hello all,

Well I managed to keep to Atkins yesterday for the meal I had at work.

I had chicken, broc and cabbage, followed by a cheese board (obviously no crakers and pickles) and coffee with cream for afters. The people I was sat next to were really pleased to get all my spuds, stuffing and yorkshires lol. The only thing I am worried about is the gravy they put on the chicken but I couldnt do anything about that. Hopefully I would have had enough carbs left to cover it. I also resisted the tuck box on the coach back and had a boiled egg and a cheese string :). Then some spicy sausge when I got in at 2am...was starving lol.

So my new carb count for yesterday (now I know mushrooms are 1carb)
13 carbs which allows 7 for the gravy that was on my dinner??
 
Todays eating plan is

alpro soya for tea-1carb

Cinemon Mim-4 with butter...(had it and YUM). My friends at work were really impressed and are going out to buy some flax lol.

Lunch,
Omlette with 2 eggs,cheese-1 carb,spicy sausage

Dinner,
Steak, muchrooms, cabbage, leeks, cauliflower, brocolli-5 carbs

Snacks, sugar free jelly.

Please can someone let me know what brands of soft drinks/cans I am allowed in Induction.

17carb for the day.

(just the gravy to worry about). Going to have under 10carbs today try and make up for it).

Can't really help on the drinks as i have rediscovered a love of tap water lol! Do look at the labels as they all use different sweetners and be careful as many people get stalled by them.

Am I right in thinking that Splenda is best sweetner to stick to?? Also, I cant find what I think I read in the book, Iv been eating some no carb spicy sausages (similar to peperamis but not spicy...think they are called kalabanas or something lol)...have i got to be careful of anything in them like nitrates and carcinigens??
 
So, a change to dinner.

Kale-3.5C (never tried before) and leeks-3.5 in garlic butter with smoked haddock (from iceland 0.5) and prawns. I sprinkled them in chilli powder and veg boullion so hopefully they will come out all scrummy. YUM, cant wait!! I can't believe this is a diet. I feel like I m just eating really healthy and not holding back from stuff like mayo and butter....I soo hope this works for me!!

8carbs for dinner
14 carbs for whole day.


How are you all getting on today?
Do you know what sweets etc are allowed laer on in the diet? Sula? Whats the best brands to go for? xx

The sugar free sula are allowed but contain sugar alcohols or 'polyols' which you'll see talked about a lot on here as something which slows or stops weight loss. I wouldn't have them at all for your first 2 weeks, then decide if you want to risk them.

In the meantime, try a sweet mim, or cream whipped with a little splenda, or Philly cheese mixed with splenda and a tiny bit of low sugar cocoa powder.

Cheers Rosebud. I am going to stay off them as Im not really having cravings for anything and if I do a cinemon MIM hits the spot :). Its sooo nice to know that there are sweets that can work with this plan in ther later stages so I dont have to miss out when we go to the cinema and hubby has his harribo lol!!

How are you doing today?? Just realised I have no eggs left so can't make a cinemon MIM...booo!

I stood on the scales this morning and they said I had lost 1.5lb since Thursday when I switched from Cd to Atkins, I can't quite believe it!! Plus I have not 'been' (sorry guys) for 3 days and im boated from TOTM.....I think I might just LOVE this diet!!
