I was sent a dvd from the royal victoria in belfast about the importance of planning and preparing for a pregnancy re regular check ups and balancing BG. Had it for maybe a year before watching but it was very interesting when I watched a month ago.
diabetic women can have bigger babies due to high BG (I was 8lb 9!) which I think makes a c-section more likely.
