hey hun, foods looking tasty as always! why dont u try something like a cadburys choc mousse light as a snack to get rid of the chocolate craving? they are really nice and chocolatey :) or some dark choco is always good :) sorry if i sound nosey just trying to help as i always get chocolate cravings! xxxx

Thank you, I was also thinking along the same lines. Going to get some next week. (once the choccy I have already bought has gone! oops!)
 
Sat 18th June

B- Half a grapefruit and tropical fruit granola.

S- A banana.

L- Chicken and chorizo sandwich.

D- Tomato, spinach and ricotta gnocchi. A piece of rocky road.
 
Mon 20th June

B- Half a grapefruit and two oatibix.

L- Red pepper and lentil soup with two slices of soda bread.

S- Handful of wild strawberries and one regular strawberry. (Picked from my garden)

D- M&S fuller longer seafood linguine and a chocolate mousse.
 
Tue 21st June

B- Half a grapefruit and two oatibix.

L- Red pepper and lentil soup with a slice of soad bread.

S- Apple and sultana cereal bar and two handfuls of mini marshamallows.

D- Halloumi with mediterranean couscous.
 
Wed 22nd June

B- Half a grapefruit and muesli.

L- Tomato and basil soup with a slice of soad bread.

S- Apple and sultana cereal bar.

D- Herb sausages with roasted fennel and tomatoes.
 
Thu 23rd June

B- Strawberries and natural yogurt with muesli.

L- Tomato and basil soup with a slice of soad bread.

S- Mixed nut cereal bar and few handfuls of tropical fruit granola.

D- Courgette lasagne.
 
Fri 24th June

B- Strawberries with natural yogurt and muesli.

L- Chorizo and three bean soup with two slices of soda bread.

S- A banana.

D- Tortellini with spinach, ricotta and bacon.
 
Ok, I'm back. My head has not been in the right place for a few weeks, now I want to get back to eating right. Recording what I eat really helps, so I want to start doing it again.
 
Thu 14th July

B- Half a grapefruit and muesli with natural yogurt.

L- Pastrami sandwich.

D- Sicillian sauages with roasted veg. Magnum mini.

 
Fri 15th July

B- Half a grapefruit and porridge.

L- Tomato soup and two slices of soda bread.

S- A banana.

D- Cauliflower and broccoli creamy penne.
 
Sat 16th July

B- Half a grapefruit and porridge.

S- Nut cereal bar.

L- Pastrami sandwich and crisps.

D- Smoked salmon and mushroom tagliatelle.

Sun 17th July

B- Half a grapefruit and two oatibix.

S- Apple and sultana ceral bar.

L- Goats cheese cous cous salad and crisps.

D- Garlic lamb cutlets and minted new potato salad.
 
Mon 18th July

B- Half a grapefruit and muesli.

L- Red pepper and lentil soup with a slice of soda bread.

S- Two slices of toast with chocolate spread.

D- Tuna melt potato wedges.


(The two slices of toast with choc spread was bad, but I really enjoyed it at the time!)
 
Tue 19th July

B- Strawberry yogurt and porridge.

L- Red pepper and lentil soup with a slice of soda bread.

S- A slice of banana and walnut loaf.

D- Spagetti puttanesca.

your menu looks great, do you cook all your meal from scratch (apart from the M&S ones of course :) ) if so do you use a recipe book or just experiment?

Hi Jan, thank you. Yes I do cook (mostly) everything, practically all my recipes come from the bbc Good Food website or books. I'm a huge fan of their recipes as they come with how many cals, grams of fat etc. there are in each portion, which is really useful.
 
Thanks for that, i'll take a lookie. Gonna try an alkaline diet when i'm done with exante but there doesnt seem to be much on any of the forums about this type of healthy eating, yours seem the closest tho.
