Running with Scissors - one day at a time.

Only lost half a pound. :( A bit gutted as I've a lot to lose, it's only my second week and I've stuck to the plan all week.

Also my consultant said it wouldn't be anything to do with introducing exercise.... I'm not convinced about that...

Still, I've managed to break the dreaded 16's and am now officially in the 15's, so that's great!

Well done you. Its a loss and you have reached a milestone in the 15's.
I stayed the same my 2nd week.
Keep going hun. You are doing really great.

Thank you Tawny and Cinnamon, that really does help keep me focused. In loads of signatures I look at it seems quite rare to get little or nothing in the second week so it's good to know!

Thursday 31st May

Breakfast:
35g All bran (I don't weigh anymore, it's a fistfull!)
skimmed milk from HEA

Lunch:
Slimming world peanut heaven bar 6 syns.
(daughter has a friend over after school so I've been too busy tidying up!)

Dinner:
Leek and potato soup (found two bags of this mix in the bargain section of the supermarket at 9 pee each!)
Added more leeks to it and an onion so hopefully at least a third is superfree...

Daughter in my bed with cough and banging headache which totally ruined her playdate, for both of them. :( I feel a bit stressed, tired and hot so not really hungry but will try to have some fruit later. Maybe also a kitkat as it's within my syns and so much more comforting than an apple!


Edit. Okay I had two satsumas and a kitkat.

Total syns = 11.5

We went to a fayre this afternoon, my partner sat to one side of me with a massive double cheeseburger, my daughter sat on the other side with a mr whippy ice cream. I had NOTHING, but waited until I got home to have my lunch which was this:

Mixed salad with three slices of eat smart ham, half a pack of mushroom cous cous (2 syns) and some low fat cottage cheese.
Followed that with a mullerlight and an apple.
All this 'missing out' on stuff better make it worthwhile on WI day. I was really good last week and lost practically nothing. Maybe I'm just eating too much??? I dunno.

Dinner (probably)
Rest of the salad (same again)
Jacket potato
Maybe the other half of the cous cous unless my daughter has scoffed it)
Ham
Cottage cheese.
And a two finger KITKAT!

Had a milky way (6 syns) instead of a kitkat. Also a boiled egg and a müllerlight. (1.5 syns) and honey (1 syn) in my drink.

Total syns for sat 18.5 oops!

Lots of spinach
3 Quorn sausages (3 syns)
Jacket potato
gravy (0.5 syns)
small milky way (6 syns)

Total sins 19.5 (Ha! Stuff it)

(Very proud of myself, went to Morrisons for lazy lunch, I would normally have cheeseburger and chips but instead I had.. )

SW beef burgers made with extra lean mince (by god that is expensive!) 0.5 syns

Well I had the wild west burger from the SW website, was lush. It's the second time I've done SW chips and the were much nicer second time around... Still can't get them to look like the chips on the website... Oh right, they're not SW chips in the pics!!

And I have a curly wurly for pudding, 6 syns.

Yay, -3.5lbs this morning, and got Slimmer of the Week, AND got my first half stone shiny! Very pleased, particularly after last weeks 0.5 loss. :))

No breakfast

Dinner:

loads of roast veggies (tomato, red onion, peppers and courgettes)
Chicken breast with fajita spices
jacket potato

1 alpen light bar 3 syns
Coconut 4.5 syns ( I didn't really want it but my daughter won it at a coconut shy on sat!)

I have a 'magic porridge in the fridge for tomorrow morning, might make pancakes with it...

Well I made pancakes, they were okay, needed some sweetener really but I don't buy it! I microwaved a teaspoon of golden syrup to pour on top (obviously heating it up made it go further! Putting half a syn for that)
