Say No to junk food and Yes to healthier food!

Feeling a lot better think I always feel worse in the mornings with a cold.

Fresh air at vintage fair did me good. Plus got my hair done retro style like Rita Hayworth.

Still not 100 percent but made a nutritious lunch and back on no junk plan. Determined to get better for weekend at Glasgow!

Lunch
2x wholemeal pitta bread with tuna leek and tomatoes

Snack melon

Back from our weekend away. It was hubby`s school reunion (40 years).
Not my cup of tea but he enjoyed it.

We stayed in a Travelodge while we were away, so it was service station food most of the time, not good.
No SW friendly food at the event either. Mostly deep fried nibbles like onion rings, garlic mushrooms & kfc style chicken.

Got home yesterday feeling really sluggish and unhealthy. Put myself on a scan bran challenge for the next few days. Plus healthy meals. Hopefully I`ll feel less sluggish before weigh in on Saturday.

Welcome back GrannieAnnie!

I agree there's not much sw friendly stuff while travelling.

A few days back on healthy meals and you'll feel right as rain again.

Decided to do some body magic tonight and spend it cleaning the bathroom. Exciting life I lead

Sometimes it needs to be done ;)
Glad you're feeling a bit better XxxX

Feeling drained today as went to a colleagues husbands funeral. Just seems to have taken it out of me.

So sad for her. Life really is unfair sometimes.

Haven't thought much about my eating as had to grab a sandwich out. Aware my superfree has lacked so will be making a nice bolognese tonight with meatballs.

Thanks all

The funeral went as well as could be expected. It was packed as he was very much loved. He had fought cancer for 4 years but at least he at peace now.

That's so sad :( xxxx

Sts for me.

Horrible horrible day. I can't even put down all the crap I've eaten. The stress of going to Glasgow this weekend is getting to me..so much to do.

I should be excited but just worried about MIL. She's staying over ours dog sitting. Buts she's so critical of our house. She thinks it's dirty but as I have agrued in past there are times its untidy but it's always clean. We don't live in a show home. She has such high standards. I'm trying to tidy and sort out bits and pieces but don't have time to sort out the spare room. Our spare room is full of boxes and old things that need organising but don't have time this week. Plus it's getting decorated soon and don't want take it all out just to put back again.

Gonna be spending most time cleaning and tidying but still won't be to her standard.

I just know she's going to be critical and it's really making me not wanna go away

Pumpkin carving for a works competition. It's relaxed me loads and never done it before.

Now back to housework.

Who cares what she thinks! It's your home.
You should hang a sign on the wall which says ' a life of cleaning is a life wasted!' Or ' it's organised mess!'

Let her judge but at the end of the day it's not her house to complain at!
