Say No to junk food and Yes to healthier food!

Think I might be naughty tonight and have some wine. Celebrate not having to get up to work. Love a bank holiday.

The dog loved his walk even though an older dog snapped and chased him. He always comes on too strong and gets told off by dogs.

Didn`t do too good on the junk today.

Had a Freddo and a packet of Velvet Crunch.
They were nice tho!! :D

As long as you enjoyed it.

I've blown it today! 2 cookies. They were divine.

meal out tomorrow as well. Think I'm gonna struggle to even sts this week.

Enjoyed walk out with dog. Gonna go on exercise bike as well. So at least I'm keeping up with been more active. :D

Yeah trigger foods can be a real pain. Crisps and pizza are my weak points. Also, a glass of wine can lead to eating cheese etc. I tend to be very strict during the week then at the weekend, I allow myself to pig out a bit (but in a controlled way) if you know what I mean. That way there are no nasty surprises or going off the rails.

Definitely a good idea to allow some time to have foods you enjoy. I think restrictions just leads to craving.

Sorry I`ve not posted recently, life has a habit of geting in the way!!

Am getting really fed up with "do-gooders" you come across in town.
My OH uses a wheelchair as he`s only able to walk short distances.
Twice this week we`ve had total strangers try to "help" us.
Practical help, we don`t mind but their "help" NO!

We were in John Lewis coffee shop minding our own business.
Two women from another table approached us carrying leaflets.
They believed that spiritualism and "laying hands" would cure him!

We know they were well meaning but they came across as patronising.
Especially when we said we didn`t share their beliefs.
We got comments like "how sad" it was that we didn`t believe!

I`m afraid I went ballistic and gave them a piece of my mind!
Not only had they approached us, but how dare they be so patronising.
We wouldn`t belittle their beliefs even though we thought they were the ones
that were off their rockers.

To cap it all, something similar happened on the bus this morning.
"I can recommend this doctor!" I get the feeling the second one
was after money!!
What is it with people that think that wheelchair users have lost their marbles!!

Sorry for the outburst. I feel better now!!

You were totally in the right to be annoyed at that, especially when someone tells you it's "sad" that you don't believe in what they do, not to mention the condescendance urgh!

How awful! Where do people think they have the right to say those things! None of their business!
