It's the autism that is hard to deal with . But I have to so I do . Losing weight has made it easier to keep up with him . I am now 1/2 lb past the half way Mark
Mother Noah, my cousin has an autistic child and I understand it can be very difficult... They actually got him a trained dog for the blind & did a TV show about him and how much the dog has helped him which was interesting. Have you ever read The Curious Incident Of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon? I thought it was interesting reading (although fictional of course!). x
My youngest is called Noah too!! I wanted the name for my oldest but wasn't allowed by my hubby, 6 years later I eventually got my way!!!
My oldest when through the process of an autistic diagnosis, turns out he wasn't on the spectrum but displays many autistic traits. So I have a tiny bit of understanding of how hard it is. But I also kno that all the fights n tears are worth it too!!xx
No I have not read it . I will look in the library for it . Noah is non verbal and classed as severely learning disabled . He also has behavioural issues . Because he has duel diagnosis methods that work with the autistic child or child with downs syndrome are not appropriate for him . We are on a learning curve at the moment to find out what works with him . He can be a very funny little chap . Was so pleased to go back to school today bless him
