SITC giving JUDDD a go

ME!! I am on DD and made my soup last night then for my dinner I plan on noodles in an anchovy and mushroom base sauce for flavour with lots of fresh parsley. Hope your hunger will dissapear fast and she doesn't find my house :)

Ok so I need to keep busy today which means I need a to do list!!!!I'm a teacher but don't have a job to go back to as yet, schools back tomorrow so chasing up applications and job hunting is a must today!! I made business cards yesterday which, when delivered, I will drop into schools. Wish they would hurry!

Sweep and Hoover all rooms- half done
Make soup- decided I'll make this on Fri instead!
Update cv
Apply for jobs- done
Phone council to chase up supply- done
Pilates DVD

I am on a DD today too, have my menu planned out.

Have been busy all week so far so have nothing planned for today, need to keep my mind off food though.
 
DD for me too ... just filled my belly with cauliflower soup and now I'm *thinking* about having an apple.

Well i've just had my first and only meal of the day lol it was lovely. 355 cals worth- Cajun chicken with a small amount of rice.

Yay so another DD over :) only one more DD to go this week now!! UP day tomorrow which I'm looking forward to, gonna make a nice chilli for dinner I think.

Had a sneaky look at the scales today and they are going down :) yeeeeha :)

A lovely UD today and just had weetabix with banana and raspberries for bf.

I have a wee bit of a dilemma that I'm looking for some advice on... My birthday is on Sunday and I'll no doubt be going out for lunch or dinner or something, it's an UD that day so all is fine. Saturday I have my friend's engagement party so a few drinks will be on the cards( another UD so all good) however my mum has just called and asked to take me out for a birthday lunch tomorrow as she works at the weekend( Friday is a DD) I want to go for lunch but being a DD I think its gonna be tough. I was thinking I'd just try and stick to a salad or something and although I'll prob go over 395 cals I'll do my best to keep my lunch as low cal as poss. What do you guys think? I don't wanna swap my Friday for an UD cos I have a weekend of socialising ahead and need my UDs for then. Half the reason for me coming to JUDD was so I could enjoy social events guilt free! I was sick of dreading these things because they got in the way of my 'diet'

Advice/ thoughts all welcome :)

That sounds like a fine plan, to me!

The other option is to do an intermediate day, where you count your calories with a view to staying at between 1200 and 1400. It gives you a bit more leeway if you want to have a glass of vino or something .... oops, sorry for planting that seed! ;)

Thanks P. I didn't know there was such a thing as an intermediate day! Are these for one offs then?
 
Well, I think they're for situations like yours (too many social events - nice :D) or "emergencies" when you end up grazing through too many calories on a DD.

It seems that people don't like them often though, as it's too reminiscent of old skool calorie counting! ;)

Thanks for the info, good to know. I'll have my lunch tomorrow and then that'll be me for the day. Have no idea what type of food the place sells but I'll prob stick to protein/veg.

I'll admit that I have loosely counted my UD cals today and Tuesday, just want to give myself an idea of what I can get for 1977!! I'm not planning on doing this long term though as it's quite tedious and I can't be bothered! Lol! I feel like I've eaten loads today but still coming under my allowance And will have 200 ish cals to play with this evening :)

Also went a 40 minute walk to Sainsb today and did 20 mins Davina abs. I've ordered a tape measure off EBay so I can record inch loss.

Is anyone else doing any form of exercise?
 
Just dropping in quickly to say hi, and that it looks like you are totally kicking this diets ass girly! Also, bit diffeent now I'm on hols but I run 5miles 4-5 times a wk, cycle and do Jillian michaels circuits. Obvs i only started JUDDDering on fri but have run whilst doing it and felt ok. I think most likely I will only do that on UD's to begin with tho (today i feel withered!) Keept up the good work chick xx

Where are you on holiday and are you still JUDDDing while away?

Know what u mean, this a breeze compared to Cambridge but as u say its early days and i haven't weighed yet so we'll see if its working!
Im in crete and yes am judddering while away. I am shifting this weight cone hell or high water! X
