    I am new to exant start date 06/10/12 am familiar with vlcd as i hv done CD before and it worked wonders. But at the moment i cannot afford it and want something more affordable. Lost 4st with CD but bad eating habits saw all the weight creeping back. I am trying to lose around 5st hope i will manage.

    Yesterday went okey at first then crumbled at night and hsd some digestive biscuits that were not worth it by the way. Anyways today is my second day and hope i will be able to stick it out today.

    Hey
    I am on day 13 and have had 2 slip ups so far, i just crossed a line over it and started afresh the next day.
    Don't beat yourself up over it and you can do anything as long as you are determined.
    Always think of the the positives.
    How did day 2 go?

    thank you so much for the encouragement am on day 4 today and i think it went well. The past three days were good as well except for the odd slip ups like an odd sweet here and there but nothing massive. today i was 100% on it so i guess im getting there. though my porridge finished quickly coz i was savouring every spoonful im loving it. Does anyone think it tastes the same as the Cambridge original flavoured porridge , those who have tried it. I have experienced some slight headaches the past 2 days and some sleepless night, and feeling cold as well. To top it all i am so moody due to lack of food.

    om my day 5 today its not really is this journey but i did manage to stay 100% focused

    oohoooooooo.... i cant believe this lost a total of 13.7lbs this week my first weigh in. oh i hope this will be a very good weekend and for me to be 100%. maybe i will lose this same next week. I had a full on week have been running around a lot this week doing shcool runs . Then running off to university then having to walk home from town it surely paid off. Thats amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    today is day 8 the headaches have seized a bit still feel dizzy in the morning when i wake up. Ya i can say im getting the hang of it now can manage to cook for hubby and the kids without picking bits and bobs now. The grumbling tummy is gone now, half way through the day have had my porridge , two 750ml of water i will be having my other tw porridge at the same time this evening so looking forward to that.

    blimey just started totm im handling the food cravings pretty well . having my water allowance but im not running to the loo that much im scared i am retaining water and how that is going to affect my weight loss this week. After all the first weeks excitement:cry::cry::cry:

    day 12 today and i cant really believe I have managed to get here after struggling to get on the diet the past few months. I have no cravings at the moment taking each day at a tym and its working. Still worried about the weigh in this weekend as i am still n totm and have a nasty cold too so not been a god week healthwise. Keeping my fingaz crossed

    thanks Divadavis managed to lose a 1lb i knew this week was not going to be great coz of the totm . I have been drinking about 3lrts of water a day and was only going to the loo about three times the whole day so probably been retaining some water. Disappointed but on the other hand pleased coz were would i have lost 1st in two weeks except on this diet looking forward t next weekend.

    blimey i felt it the whole day today have finally succumbed today and had a blip nothing massive but it is still a blip. Ended up not having all my 3 porridge for today to try and repair the damage anyways tommorrow is another day and another struggle i will pull through. Just wonder if it had anything to do with my very low weight loss, im still searching my soul.

    Hiya hun, have things improved for you? This diet relies sooo much on being in the right headspace, I'm struggling a lot and I think a lot of other people do too. Once things click though it does get much easier. Mind you, I'm still waiting :D lol x

    thank you divadivas ya i know a loss is loss where else will you have that if you are not on a diet. This week started well , hope to keep it up. @ samprand thanks for the headsup im doing great now i was just down coz of the totm and the cold but am good now and back on track hoping that my losses will improve from now on as they give us the drive to carry on.
