Hi everyone

I tend to do more classes and swimming than gym work at the moment, but am looking to get back into it and was just wondering what routine you have. Do you focus mainly on CV work or weight training or do you combine them both?

Thanks

Bella :)

Gina, you are the gym queen! How do you manage it everyday and weekends are jam packed! I admire your commitment. I usually just stick to the cross trainer and free weights at the gym, but want to mix it up a bit more and am considering getting a programme done so I have something to work towards. xx

copied from the les mills site:
BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYCOMBAT™ class is produced every three months with new music and choreography.

its brilliant, alot prefer this to body attack becuase its not as hard while still being high impact depending how much you put in :D

I do Zumba 3 times a week, try to get a good walk in 3 times a week (my pedometer dosen't seem to be working properly so I'm thinking of getting a hrm instead) and starting hores riding again this week.

I think I'll have a chat with my Zumba instructor as she teaches body combat as well..Not sure I'm brave enough..

Totally agree with Gina - have a go at Combat - totally good fun and moves are not difficult. Very good for de-stressing and I love the music too.

Joined the gym yesterday and my first day was great. I went on the treadmill, cross trainer and biker - the sweat was pouring off. Did some weights at home :)

I only joined the gym 3 weeks ago! Just finished my 3rd week :D
I got 3 personal trainer sessions with my membership and it was awesome. I told her I gain weight very easily and she said it's because I don't have enough muscle! So thanks to her i've been trying classes like Body Pump (which is awesome!).

I go the gym atleast 3 times a week about 5 hours in total. I try to do a class that will get my heart pumping and a class that will build muscle and the rest of my time I spend on the cross trainer, trendmill or rower (not so much on the rower lol) yesterday was my 4th time at the gym this week and after my first Pump class thursday I could barely move my arms! lol. So I decided to just do an hour 1/2 on the trendmill.

I'm loving the gym :D
