 THE WISE ONE 
I am a newbie to this site which I found as an app. I have been an off and on SW person for over 10 years now. I have reached target in the past but this time after having my daughter I an struggling (my daughter is now 4 - lol)
I went back on the plan in the new year and lost 6lbs. But since 23rd Jan there has been no change :-(
I have decided to write a food diary and any help or encouragement as I am doing this at home would be lovely.

Green Day 11/2/11
Brekkie - 42g weetabix crunchy bran HEXB and ss lactofree milk part HEXA

Lunch - Mediterranean couscous (0.5 syns) made with hot water and added to this lemon juice from 1/2 lemon, cucumber, baby tomatoes and 28g black olives (2.5 syns)

Dinner - SW oriental mixed mushroom & vegetable stir-fry - free

Drinks: coffee , sweetener, milk from HEXA
Sugar free peach squash

Snacks: none yet ;-(

Brekkie - 28g high fibre alpen HEXB and ss lactofree milk from HEXA and

Dinner - my spaghetti bolognese (de-lish) 0.5 syns plus 14g Parmesan 3 syns and sugar free squash
Pineapple and black grapes

Tea- 3 egg omelette using a dash of HEXA milk , mushrooms, spring onions, cherry tomatoes and once cooked grilled quark on top and sugar free squash

Strawberries and 0% fat Greek yogurt mixed with sweetner and vanilla essence

Snacks: lychees (rather a lot - they are my favourite)

Your food diary looks fine to me...I'm a newbie myself as well. Maybe you need some more fruit in your diet...I heard from someone at work that grapefruit speeds up your metabolism. I have no idea if this is a fact but if you can stand the bitter taste give it a go! :eek:) If it makes a difference then eat 10 a day lol!! :) good luck...stick to it x
 
Just looked at yesterday and you r right no fruit!!!! I usually do have lotsa fruit daily so must have had an unusual day lol

SW fried eggs
SW chips
SW fried mushrooms and tomatoes
85g raw weight bacon ( fat removed) HEXB
1 tblsp ketchup - 1 syn
1 tblsp Branston brown sauce - 1 syn

Pudding
2 slices (cut into 8) 11 syn sponge cake (filling 2 x weightwatchers layered strawberry from frais and sliced fresh strawberries yum ) 2.8 syns

Tea
Had the leftover cold chips (I know, I know) and a weightwatcher syn free yogurt
Some cherries

Sugar free squash - lots



A happier bunny today as scales have finally been good to me!

hiya im the same iv stayed the same the last 2 weeks its quiet disheartning aint it, i cant work out why im not losin cos im fallowin the plan 100% :( x
 
Hi

When on a Green day you should be having 2 (a) choices and 2 (b) choices in additional to all of the free food. Also make sure that you are using you quota of SYNS this can be anything from 10-15 a day. Not eating enough will result in no weight loss.

I usually do EE days so find it hard to use up extra HEXs - silly eh?! Also trying to be good on syns for a week or so as willpower is quite bad at the mo tee hee. Will build up slowly by buying some low syn nosh foods next shop! Unless you have some ideas for my syns which are not naughty that will use them up??

Your food diary looks good so far. I do agree with jodieduarte1 that more fruit is needed :) If your trying to use Hex's then you can have 2 Alpen Light Bars as a HEB.

Syns wise i usually have a Asda Vitality Bars which is 4 syns. Or Curly Wurly which is 6.5 syns.

A few days ago someone posted an idea for a cholocate fix. If you break up 2 Choc and fudge Alpen Light bars (HEB) and microwave them for 30 seconds and add 1 tsp of Nutella (2 syns) then it makes a really nice dessert :)

My fruit intake is a lot more mon- thurs when at work. I adjusted this yesterday. Will do again today.

Love the nutella idea- trouble is last time I bought it i kept returning for a sneaky teaspoon fix.

Nutella with ryvita crushed makes great ferreros too yum

I find that I eat loads of fruit in the week at work because it feels me up between lunch and dinner. But at the weekends my fruit intake is like zero! Definitely need to change it...fruit is the way forward lol!! Xx
