He's lovely, but unfortunately not hypo-allergenic. Although that's what Doodles were bred for (Golden and Labra), shedding can't be controlled as it comes down to the individual dog and it's environment, so no dog is hypo-allergenic.

The guy who first bred these in 1992 is quite vocal about it. There was an article in the Independent about it not long ago (he is still a lovely dog though)

Ahh that's interesting! I don't get to see him often as he's in Canada :( but he does shed a tiny bit but a lot less than normal dogs. My sister bf is allergic to fur (or something) and he was fine with Riley maybe it was just luck?! He's awesome whatever though :) but dogs are so much work hey?! Thanks guys, their such nice dogs, great temperament! I want one toooooo!!! xx

LOL! Poor boys! Although... Is that allowed in today's PC crazy world? It should be mind.

I have to admit to being pretty surprised that they are doing it. I do work on the Bath Road in Slough (and not the nice end) and when I started i was told not to go right out of my building unless in a group (not exactly what you want to hear on your 1st day!). Alot of the women said that we would be happy to park in the car park 1/2 a mile down the road if the company provided a mini bus park & ride to get us there - but that costs money!

I'll see if you can find the article that I read, it's hilarious. The guy who bred them is so negative about them because they didn't work out as intended and he spent YEARS on it (they were initially bred to be guide dogs but the American guide dog association won't accept them).

I'm off to look for it x

Dear Dumbass (aka boyfriend)

I HAVE to go to uni today, I literally cannot miss these lectures. Therefore, YOU HAVE TO GET UP so the landlord can get in to fix the boiler. You know, the one I quite clearly telepathically broke since there's obviously no other explanation.

Get up GET UP GET UPPPPPP!!!

Oh and get up!

i am allergic to dogs but i have a west highland terrier also very good for people with allergies as sheds very little ................

dear scales
you know im very desperate to lose a few extra pounds before my romantic weekend away for my 20th anniversary so why dont you move i have stuck to plan 110% are you just mocking me because it looks like you are grinning at me im warning you now if you dont change by next week i will put you in the back of the cuboards with all the other gadgets that no longer live up to my expectations

I lurve my dog.......Coco-"nuts" (profile pic) but she was sooooooo naughty as a puppy that she nearly caused divorce in our household!! And her puppy phase lasted until she was 14 months old when she started to think about becoming a "lady"! She still has her moments and has to be walked every day, preferably twice, despite us having a huge garden or our evenings are unbearable - she loves doing laps around the settee, hall and kitchen (wooden floors make for great skids lol)

Dear lecturer,
You have had 4 weeks to mark our assignments and your part of the deal is to mark them within 4 weeks. Our side (as students) is to hand them in by a certain date. As we fulfilled our side of the contract any chance you can hurry up and post the marks?
Thanks
Stressed Student ;)

Dear hubby's company

Please stop overlooking him for promotion because he has kids. He never takes time off because of them and didn't even take paternity leave as he didn't want to leave his colleagues in the poo
He would be a great manager and after 6 years as assistant manager it's unfair to promote people who have only been with the company for a year

Out of 6 managers in the area now none have partners or children so it's quite clear what the issue is and trying to fob him off with " you aren't experienced enough" is quite frankly insulting

A very angry wife x

You should get in touch with ACAS for some advice.

Sounds very unfair to me!!

I agree with Mrs S. There's sexism, agism, etc in the workplace so surely there is some case for familyism? (yes an awful made up term but you know what I mean) Unfair treatment, etc. Definitely worth looking into :)

You know I'm up for a wee at least 3 times and now I'm exhausted you meanie... but I still love you lol

Dear OH

Please make an effort to talk to me on the phone when i ring at work. One word answers and not bothering to ask how my day is going really really winds me up!!! :flamingmad:
