What's everyone reading at the moment?

I loved call the midwife, and shadows of the workhouse. God farewell to the east end on the kindle in the to read list!

Did you watch the tv series of call the midwife? The 2nd one has just finished and there was an Xmas special.

I never managed to catch it but brought my mum the first series on DVD so will catch up with her :) x

Eventually finished Blood Hunt... The 2AM series... It has taken me longer not because it hasn't been a good book, on the contrary it has been excellent... Other projects have kept me away from Mr Kindle and a lot happening in my life that has stopped me from my usual devouring of this novel... I have now started both the bookclub choice of the first quarter John Connolly Every Dead Thing... As well as Jack the Ripper a 21st century investigation by Trevor Marriot... Following the lecture I attended on Thursday night by the author...
 
Before I go to Sleep, can't put it down!!

The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton, just started it for book club.
Finished Before I Go to Sleep in 3 days, was so good!
 
Just started on the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, but I'm not sure if I'm really enjoying it
 
I started reading the first couple of pages of the hunger games books but I've given up already. I've never been so unenthusiastic about reading a book just from the first couple of pages! Instead I'm reading Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles :) xx

Cheers for the heads up hun, I shall check those out. I've just finished reading the Anita Blake series...I just don't get the time to read as often as I'd like now :sigh: xx

I know the feeling... The other books in that series I mentioned are both under two pounds... Bargain! X
 
I've recently read, A Street Cat Named Bob - easy read, with a good feel story. 2 Agatha Christie's - Murder at the Vicarage and An Endless Night, can never put her books down :) and One Day by David Nicholls. I'm going to attempt my hubby's Hobbit/Lord of the Rings book boxset. I've never read them and he reckons they should be read at least once a year :-/
