Hi all,

I'm really looking froward to participating on this thread.

I am back after a few years away and this was one of my favourite threads on here before. I used to love coming on to get inspiration and share my meals.

Not sure what I'm having yet tonight for tea but wanted to come on and say hello :D

I am doing chicken curry and rice for tea tonight. With lots of added veggis in the curry.
What's everyone else having?

I'me having veggie sausages tonight. Probably with sw chips and grilled tomatoes :)
Last night I had chilli. I like things like chilli/spag bol that you can pack the speed food into the sauce, otherwise I find I struggle to get it to a third of my plate!

It will be a throw it all in a pan one, lol!
I also had chilli (veg) last night. It sounds like we may like the same kind of meals as I have a lot of veggi sausages as well. Do you have a food diary?

Hi all.
I have a busy night tonight as got my daughters parents evening and it is spread over 2.5 hours!
So it's just a quick dinner for me. Pesto Pasta, I absolutely love it.

Jacket Potato for me tonight. I'm not sure yet what filling I'll be having as I am going shopping after work but think it will be cottage cheese and beans or something like that.

Grilled gammon steak with fried egg on top, veg mix (brokkoli, cauliflower, carrots, brussel sprouts), butternut squash mash, HexA allowance of Philli light with garlic & herbs on the side, mmmm yummy :eating:

Chicken and chickpea moroccan stew with lemon cous cous and a microwave poppadom as they have less calories hence less syns. Gillian mc keith You Are What You Eat

I'm going to attempt to do healthy chicken kebabs with lots of salad and some SW chips. I've got family round for dinner so will let them stuff themselves silly while I enjoy a smaller portion but might also bulk it out a bit with spicy cous cous.
What's everyone else having?

Today I am doing Stuffed Marrow. I tried it a few months ago and it was lovely. It's so easy to make and is really tasty and healthy. I'm also hoping there will be some leftovers so i can bring them to work tomorrow for my lunch :)

Sounds good- is it stuffed with mince? That's the only recipe I've seen!
No idea what I'm going to make for tea tonight- really need to do a food shop so I'm going to trawl this thread, then my cupboards, for inspiration!
Yes it is stuffed with mince. I'm doing mine with quorn mince though as I don't eat normal mince. Then I put a sage and onion stuffing crust on top.

Slow cooker beef with potato with veg water and a tiny bit of skimmed milk and butter. Sweetcorn mixed veg and yorshire with 100 ml gravy. Have been teally good today and fad 4.25 mile walk and going to do abit of my jessica smith dvd.

I don't think I've ever had stuffed peppers but I suppose it would be the same principle, so will give it a go :)

I'm not sure what we're having tonight yet, I need some inspiration.

Oh dear guys....visitors for the weekend. Have made chicken curry for dinner. I will have half rice half salad. Small piece of naan.
Eating out Saturday night so thinking of a huge breakfast on Saturday am.


Maybe pancakes before they leave sunday or may swap that and do a light lunch saturday.

Will try to be good as i really dont want to get disheartened at this early stage

I'm sure you'll be fine. We can't put our lives on hold because we want to lose weight. Just be careful what you eat :)

I'm doing a big fried breakfast tonight, with poached egg, veggi sausages, mushrooms, SW chips, tomato and beans.
