whats your meal plans for the week??

Curry, curry and moar curry - I've got chilies in the fridge that need using up, and there are some good SW recipes out there. It's all going to be green as I'm vegetarian.

It's in the new magazine, I think theyre out in the shops now. :)

Dunno if I'm allowed to post it.....

There's already one on minimins that's almost identical:

Chicken chasseur

The only difference is the SW has some tarragon added and omits the white wine.

I freeze spare chillis - then take one (or more!) out about 5 mins before you need it, and it will be soft enough to chop or cut up.

I like planning meals. For breakfast I always have either cereal and milk, or some combination of eggs, beans and bread.

Lunch tends to be leftovers from the night before.

Dinners for this week:

Monday: Leek and Pea pasta with light philly
Tuesday: Warm lentil salad with spinach and a poached egg on top
Wednesday: Chickpea Tagine
Thursday: Quorn Bolognese with wholewheat spaghetti
Friday: Stirfried veg with mexican seasoning, rice, wraps (synned)
Saturday: Out for a meal
Sunday: Pitta pizzas :D

How do you make the square wrap pizza ??

so simple..i use the warburtons square wrap... this is 8 syns but it is quite large
use a level tblespoon of tom puree over, i use a hxa of cheese and a hxb of ham ( if im on a green day ..if its a red day would be free!)
put in the oven for about 5 mins until the topping is all cooked..delicious!!

I have always been pretty obsessed with coming up with weekly meal plans. I love finding old notebooks from several years ago and seeing how my eating habits have changed or being reminded of dishes I haven't cooked for ages.

This week's meal plan is

Thursday: Lentil dahl with spinach and butternut squash with rice and cucumber and mint salad.
Friday: Seafood risotto with baked fennel
Saturday: Steak, chips, salad and stilton baked mushrooms

You know what? That loooong shift on Tuesday I may just take my SU out for a meal and join him, so the shadow can see how we do it! If I can find the dosh that is!!!

I'll probably chop and change a little bit, but so far for dinner this week I'm thinking:

Saturday: Chicken Fajitas with Weight Watchers Tortilla Wraps
Sunday: Sunday Lunch

Right. Am doing my plan for next weeks dinners so here goes:

Saturday: chicken jalfrezi with rice
Sunday: roast dinner (chicken)
Monday; SW pizza topped chicken with sw wedges & salad
Tuesday: chilli
Wednesday; paella
Thursday: baked salmon with stir fry veg & noodles.
Friday : god knows cos i'm at my sisters!

On sunday i will also batch cook the following for lunches & emergencies (like forgetting to get stuff out of the freezer)

Mixed Bean Chilli
Mediteranean Chicken
Keema Curry
Vegetable Curry

That should do us for a couple of weeks. In fact, might take some of them with me to my sisters so i can stay on plan without inconveniencing her (she already has to feed 5 so i might be doing her a favour)
