whats your meal plans for the week??

What is mexican scrambled eggs Honey?
 
Oh its really easy, brown some onions, garlic, chillies and green pepper in olive oil or frylight. Add a few chopped cherry tomatoes, season with salt and pepper. Add beaten eggs and stir until cooked. Add some red kidney beans and coriander then serve!
 
This is a good idea, I must try to plan next week and see if it works!
 
i try to plan a week and i do a shop for it but then on the day sometimes i think "i just dont fancy that now!"
 
before slimming world i hardly planned meals but i find it really helps me to keep to plan if i know what my main meal is going to be .. that way i can work out my healthy extras around them..
it makes me feel tres organised!!!..
 
I'm trying to get back on track after a baaaaad week last week so have planned my meals from Tues - Fri and I'm going to sit down on Friday afternoon and plan from Sat - Mon. Here's what I have so far:

Tuesday:
Lunch - Leek and Potato soup, fruit salad
Dinner - Spaghetti Bolognese

Wednesday:
Lunch - Leek and potato soup, fruit salad
Dinner - Chicken, leek and pea risotto

Thursday:
Lunch - 2 slices wholemeal bread filled with turkey and mixed salad
Dinner - Steak, chips and mixed veg

Friday:
Lunch - 2 slices wholemeal toast, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato and beans
Dinner - Omelette and salad

Hoping I'll stick to it !!

Today:Green Day

Breakfast: 2 slices of Toast & two apples
Lunch: 2x Mug shots & one Apple
Dinner: Mixed bean chilli with Baked pots

Friday: Red Day

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Mushrooms, Baked Beans & Bacon
Dinner: Chicken Curry and SW Chips

Saturday: Red Day

Breakfast: Fuit and Mullar light 2 slices of Toast
Lunch/Dinner: Roast Chicken Dinner with loooads of veggies

Sunday: Green day

Brunch: Italian Chicken Soup & Bread
Dinner: Baked Pots with mixed Bean Chilli and Cheese.

Monday: Green Day

Breakfast: Mullar Light with Fruit
Lunch: Baked Pot with Tuna & Cheese
Dinner:


And thats all i can think of so far lol

I've had to change my meal plan, going to the dentist today so I don't think I'd be able to manage a salad sandwich or steak :( so I'm swopping today's lunch with Friday's lunch and will just do something chickeny for dinner :)
 
heres my meal plans for week so far..

thursday - pasta n sauce with cheese and bacon
friday - square wrap pizza and wedges salad
saturday - mushroom and pancetta risotto with steamed greens
sunday - meat free cheese burger and wedges
monday tuna and onion cheesy pasta bake
tuesday - qourn lasagne
wednesday - qourn mousakka and sweet potato chips
 
This is this week's plan! Most of the meals from the 'extra easy cookbook' :)

Saturday - kheema curry (beef and mushroom) with rice and mixed veg
Sunday - fish and chips with salad
Monday - butternut squash and bacon risotto with mixed veg
Tuesday - Chicken stirfry
Wednesday - Baked potatoes with beans, cheese, and broccoli on the side
Thursday - Salmon kedgeree with green beans
Friday - Quorn egg-fried veggie rice
 
I weigh in on Monday evening, so come Tuesday morning I plan on trying a fish week! It may or may not help my losses, but I have a ton of fish in the freezer that needs using up, so may as well try and kill 2 birds with one stone!
 
OK..... I've done one this week,

Fri: Rainbow trout / veg / HEB potatoes
Sat: Liver & bacon / veg / HEB potatoes
Sun: Chicken casserole
Mon: Pork chops / veg / HEB potatoes
Tue: Creamy seafood pasta (HEB pasta / HEA philli light)
Wed: el mince burger & SW chips (HEB potatoes / HEA cheese), salad
Thur : tandoori chicken & rice / salad


for breakfast and/or Lunch I have eggs, smoked salmon, ham, bread, salad, soup, fruit, prawns, cereals, cheese so will fit those into the day over the course of the week
 
My meal plan for next week is something like this;

Monday: out for a meal to celebrate OH getting another short story published.
Tuesday: Mousaka-thing: Mousaka flavoured mince in a baked aubergine with feta on top.
Wednesday: Mexican chicken and creamed corn stew with black beans, BNS and roasted onions.
Thursday: Chicken with rosemary and gorganzola with roasted new poatoes and cabbage
Friday: Prawn and chilli pasta
Saturday: Homemade burgers, chips, coleslaw and salad.
Sunday: Fish pie.
 
I do EE and this weeks menu is:

Saturday (lady night): SW burgers, 1 WM roll (HEXB), 42g RF Cheese (HEXA), Jacket Pot and a huge salad

Sunday: Chicken breast wrapped in bacon with 1 tbsp BBQ sauce (1 syn) topped with 42g RF cheese (HEXA), SW roast potatoes and loads of superfree veg

Monday: Shepherd's Pie with loads of SF veg

Tuesday: Turkey Breast Pizza (from this months magazine), SW wedges and huge salad

Wednesday: Jacket Pot with Cottage Cheese and huge salad

Thursday: Fillet Steak, Jacket Pot, huge salad

Friday: Keema Curry with loads of added SD veg, boiled rice
 
Okayyy just totted this week into Tescos to come tomorrow:

Sun: Chicken curry
Mon: Feta stuffed chicken in Parma ham with veg
Tue: Lentil soup
Wed: Black bean stew
Thu: Fish, chips & peas, with mushy pea curry sauce
Fri: Chilli on kabocha
Sat: Brunch: Bacon & sausage butty. Tea: Honey's prosciutto & egg salad starter, then rack of lamb with celeriac & parsnip puree and braised red cabbage for main
Sun: Chicken & veg
Mon: Spicy root & lentil casserole
Tue: Roasted veg soup
Wed: college - leftovers
Thu: college - leftovers
Fri: Pizza made with cheese scone recipe
Sat: Partridge with puy lentils and redcurrant sauce
Sun: Chicken curry w SW pakora/bhaji & dip
Mon: Lentil, broccoli & cabbage soup:
Tue: Egyptian red lentil soup:
Wed: college - leftovers
Thu: Morroccan chicken
Fri: Keema curry
Sat: Citrus bean soup

Only really planned/shopped until the 1st Tuesday and all a very rough plan.
