Sloppy joes always look and sound so good but they just look so difficult to eat! I know I would end up wearing more of the filling than I got to eat...

You could always just use a knife and fork, but that would take the fun out of it!!!!!!

Maybe I just need to invest in lots of napkins, tuck them into my neck and get on with it!:D

Hi erm,
Hope you're ok!
Sounds lovely. I want to know what the Fesanjan is???

Enjoy the chicken and rice.

It's a Persian dish, meat made with pomegranates & walnuts.

I got meself some pomegranate molasses so its Persian food galore at the minute :D Ill try not to overdo it this time like I did the last one though!

And I'd like to know what marmite twists are :)

Ahhhh I havent tried those yet, but I saw this recipe and the Marmite thing caught my eye, I wondered if I could do it with that cobbler dough we've been using for all and sundry? Roll it out flat, spread some Marmite over, maybe a sprinkle of grated cheese, then slice into strips, twist and bake?

Dunno know if it'll work yet but Im gonna try it this week sometime :)

I spend most of Sunday in the kitchen cooking, plus I put a few things in the slow cooker as well, & hubby has tomorrow off so he will be cooking some of it then. I also cook double batches, so I don't need to cook 7 meals each week, maybe just 4, plus some lunches.

Tbh, we use the same 6 veg for most meals, so the prep (which is the bit that take time), is easy. If you're cutting up 2 peppers, you might as well do 4 :)

Good tip re the veggies, so do you freeze some of the meals then?
