Wrong height in my information

Hi, by now I figured out almost everything to find my way around this forum and do stuff, but one thing . I am 178 cm, and that translates to about 70 inces, or 5.8 feet when I look it up. I type in 70 inces in my personal information, and it shows up as:
Height: 5' 10"

Anyone know what's wrong? I am using online calculators since I am not used to counting in inches, but many say the same.

Not a "end of the world problem", but I am curious .

Hi hun 70 inches is 5' 10".

5' 8" which is what I am, is 68 inches.

Ok! Thanks for your reply! Ok, I might gotten everything in the calculation wrong then . Google said that
178 centimeters = 5.83989501 feet

178 cm in feet - Google-sökning

but that might not mean 5'8" or how you write it (just realised that now)

online calculators seem to have difficulties, if you try 5ft it will say 60 in then ad your 8 which will make 68.
but to do it yourself its 5x12 =60 +8 =68.
thats the easiest way.
i asked my partner hes the one with the brains in our house lol xxx

Thanks a lot to you both! Then I learned something new today as well . Anyway, the conclusion is that I am 70 inches, and it shows right in my information.

The google calculation is right but that's not an inch and foot measurement but just a foot measurement.

5.8 feet equals 5 feet + .8 foot

.83989501 feet in inches in google returns 10.0787401 inches

so you are 5 foot & 10 inches
