    Back on track!! :D :D :D

Well done on making the committment. And definitely count your drinks... fruit juice is often unbelieveably high in calories, smoothies is super high and those splashes of milk in tea and coffee all add up over the long term... 2 cups of tea a day with 15mls of semi-skimmed milk is 16cals a...

    Darling09's 100% honest diary

darling09 - looking at your menu for yesterday as guidance, I would suggest that you aren't spreading your cals out enough. If you don't eat enough early in the day you will get hungry. Remember that at breakfast you haven't eaten all night and that in the evening the food you eat is only used...

    CarefulCounter's Food Diary

Right I have read lots of people's diaries on here and found them really motivating and interesting. I am nervous of putting myself out there but I think it will really help me - I guess I hope for a bit of support when it's tough and a proper telling off when I mess up! I'm 22 and have always...

    FGS's Weight Loss Diary

I agree! That's the best thing about calorie counting - you can have whatever you want just as long as the numbers balance. I can't believe I just ate a delicious belgian bun at work for a collleague's birthday but it's okay - I still have 300 cals left for dinner!

Cake staring at me from across the office

Thank you kindly. In addition to moving the papers I tried the Paul McKenna technique of imagining it all mouldy and crawling with maggots...now I just feel a bit queasy! :) Oh dear, I am glad no one can see what goes on in my head!

Hello from gloomy Northamptonshire...new poster here...

I am amazed on how tight the regulations are for Oz and New Zealand...you'd think they didn't have room to spare and skills shortages with how fussy they are! Good luck with Lipotrim...I am calorie counting but have great respect for the committment those VLCDs take...I hope New Zealand are...

Cake staring at me from across the office

I moved a pile of papers to the front of my desk so I can't see it! I would rather be thin! I just needed to express the frustration! And I can have a little iced finger tomorrow...think the bakery man in Sainsburys thought I was a right nutter when I asked him to find out how many calories in...

Cake staring at me from across the office

I am just having a cup of tea and it is a colleague's birthday today so he has left some yummy looking cake out in our office for people to help themselves! It is calling to me!! I must not give in...I won't manage just a slither! It is my birthday tomorrow too so I have muffins to bring in...

Hello from gloomy Northamptonshire...new poster here...

Thanks hugybear but I don't have that much to lose I am afraid. I am very impressed with your fitness tests...I had a boyfriend who went through the recruitment and training process for the police while we were together...it's tough! I can't imagine doing those fitness tests regularly! As you...

    worried

I would think it was partly to do with the pill...if i put 2 packs together I always feel more bloated and heavier by the time i get to the end of the 2nd packet. But also you have exams to get through so the anticipation/stress/anxiety/pressure might have an effect?? I wouldn't worry about it...

We can't be perfect all the time :) else we wouldn't be on here! Try not to beat yourself up (I'm a fine one to talk i do exactly the same with the guilt though!). The fact you are focussed on means you will make the right choices and still enjoy yourself! cc x

    maintenance question

I know what you mean - it is hard to calorie count when you are a guest and don't want to make a fuss... breakfast is quite easy to keep control of and you could take some fruit with you to snack on during the day...as for meals, I am sure you will make sensible choices if you are eating out and...

What have you bought today that you would recommend to refeeders/maintainers?

I used to think that...but if you think about it, fish that isn't frozen has been sat on ice on a boat then in a refridgerated lorry then through a factory then back on the refridgerated lorry and sat in an open fridge in the supermarket....frozen will have been (hopefully!) really fresh when it...

Well don't feel too bad if you use up those left over cals on a treat...you will still be under the amount you have set for yourself and probably feel better for the little boost! Also I feel like if I've 'saved' a few cals through the week I am safer fighting the temptations of the weekend!! I...

    Filling Foods

Hello, From reading various posts I have learnt that in the Wieght Watchers information packs there is a list of low calorie, filling foods. I can make educated guesses about many foods but was wondering if someone on Weight Watchers wouldn't mind making some suggestions? Thanks!

    1000 cals a day

That's the thing - I find a good snack or something then after a few weeks I get bored of it and want something new! Supermarkets definately do vary in what they stock. Oh and the other thing I like is dried apricots and dried pineapple (so good for chewing on and for sweet kick).

    1000 cals a day

I always have the Tesco healthy choice maple cereal bars (they do other flavours) in my cupboard and they are 75 cals so good for a higher energy snack then the rest of your snack allowance could go on fruit or veggies or a few nuts?

    COUNTING!

I use Food Focus...it isn't always totally accurate so I add in my own dietary info for certain things if it seems out by too much. It also helps you keep tabs on your carb and protein intake. That and my set of digital kitchen scales are my new best friends!

I know i keep going on but...

I was sceptical about the interval running when it was first suggested to me but I find that because it involves a hard push then easing back that I can keep going longer and keep my heart rate up without keeling over! Worth a try.
