well i have to say i am giving up slimming world for a while as i just cant seem to fit it around my life at the moment:sigh:
i am working long hours i start about 12-1pm and finish anytime after midnight, (taxi driver) im sick of eating out of a tupperware box everyday i cant seem to be able to stick to it at the moment.
i shall still be going to my meeting but i am just going to try and eat sensibly, i shall still come on here if thats ok as i think this site is brill

aww hun!! I totally see your point, it's not the nicest way to eat all the time! What will you be doing for food now while you are at work? Maybe we can come up with ideas to help you...

I know that I lost weight a few years ago by just calorie AND fat counting... i allowed myself 1500 cals and 30g fat a day and lost weight well like that... maybe you could try something like that??

I had to stop sticking with it in the summer as its my busiest time of the year, I just ate more sensibly than I would do. If OH had fried brekkie then I would have scrambled egg on toast (would have had fry up before) and just cutting back on everything else and being more careful. I still lost 7Ibs over the summer, not a vast amount between June and Sept but at least I didn't put it on. Which was a step in the right direction.

Awww Hun, sorry to hear that you have to give up plan for a while, but I can totally understand why.
Just choose sensible meals and you will be fine.

i think you should have a week off then start again hon dont stop , i know it seems rubbish eating out of tupperware and you will be getting fed up what you need is a short rest i did what you did and it all piled back on , why not have a good rummage around the syns section and see if you cant just pick up some better ideas i really really hope you read this and change your mind i work long long hours and i get fed up but if something is worth sticking too and just imagine how great you will feel when you get to target XXXXX

I agree with princessria - how about a short break of just eating healthily then try some different ideas to eat while you are at work?

If you are finding the eating hard on SW, what choices will you make that allow you to eat healthily but non SW? Do you have ideas for things you will be eating instead of your lunchbox meals?

Just checking as it could be just as difficult finding healthy non SW meals while you are out working.

If possible, you could always make yourself flasks of hot meals - pre cooked pasta & sauce, noodles, rice dishes, soups etc.

You don't want to undo all your hard work and find the only options open to you are takeaways and see the lbs creep back on.

Totally see why this is tricky for you but maybe we can all get some ideas to make it easier? xx

I can only agree with the others! There are times when we all get a bit fed up of the whole 'dieting' thing and life just gets in the way. If you need to give it a rest, then so be it (definitely don't stop posting here though!!) and no great worry if it eases the stress you're feeling.
However, I also agree that it might just be a short break you need. Whatever other healthy foods you might be eating/taking to work/picking up, how different from SW will it be?

Maybe we can give you some new ideas on foods to take to work? Something to jazz up that butty box!

i dont plan on giving up altogether i think your right i just need a break.
the thing is im lucky if i have a proper cooked dinner once a week the rest of the time its just grab something or if i have taken something with me i then dont want it so i get something else then i think i have blown it and then carry on eating the wrong things.
i think i need to get my head back in place so am going to try and think of things that i can have to eat during the course of the afternoon and evening

Just some thoughts - you start working at 12-1 so how about cooking yourself a really big yummy breakfast of: Eggs, beans, mushrooms, sliced potatoes etc - if on EE add some bacon & free sausages. Nice hot meal.

Other days could be eggs on toast
egg and bean omelet etc

You can have your hot meal in a flask (keeping it warm) and supplies of fruit for the day, if you get peckish you could get some cooked chicken (as long as not a veggie) :)

GIve yourself a break to get your head back in the 'zone' but sure we can help find some solutions for you. xx
