I have been losing weight steadily (some would say rapidly as I started on TS and have lost nearly 4 stone since July) I have however noticed that when my weight stays the same for a while I have maybe got a little down and had a glass of wine or 2 and the next day will have lost 2-3 pounds. I noticed I lost weight after drinking previously after a night out I would feel leaner the following day. This morning I stumbled across this report that may explain things a little. This report recommends sensible drinking not binge drinking and ultimately alcohol is empty calories but maybe it has a role in the times we need to speed up the whoosh effect to release the water that hides in our fat cells and makes us wobble
