Week One Summary

Monday (Labor Day): N/A

Tuesday: Upper Body / Stretching

Wednesday: Figure Skating / Lower Body / Stretching

Thursday: Stretching 2x

Friday: Upper body

Saturday: Lower body (minus bum) / Stretching


Summary:

Diet: 100% save for Saturday (over 100 calories), which was made up for on Sunday (under 100 calories).

Strength Training: 100% (missed one only due to genuine need to rest muscles)

Flexibility: Missed 1 Stretching Session.

Cardio (Figure Skating): Missed 3 Sessions due to tired/laziness, and then later in week soreness.


Comments:

RawrGirl is pleased overall, esp with her diet over the weekend which poses trouble for her. However, RawrGirl is not pleased with the usual only 1 day of figure skating. Her cardio is ALWAYS what falls to the wayside. She likes to figure skate, she paid for figure skating (which expires end of November and at this point she can't afford to pay for again), so SHE BETTER GET OFF HER BUM AND SKATE NEXT WEEK!!!

RawrGirl has fallen many times...she now wears knee pads (from a ballet store). RawrGirl also took lessons when she first started for about 6 months (then she ran out of x-tra money). And yes, RawrGirl is leaving to go skate now...

Does she have a smart phone? It's a food and exercise tracking app where you can follow each others' progress. You scan barcodes and the calories automatically add to your diary! In fact, I don't think you have to have the app- they have a website too. Worth checking out.

RawrGirl and My Fitness Pal: Part 2

Well, after several hours of trying to figure out how to add foods to My Foods, RawrGirl realized that it wasn't working because what she needed/wanted to be doing was adding it to My Recipes. But now the site wigged out on her...so she guesses she will have to wait for it to start working properly again...

Well done today! I'm just in from kickboxing (loved it but will be sore tomorrow!) Watching an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives (aka food porn!) then bed.

RawrGirl and My Fitness Pal: Part 3

To anyone who is interested:

RawrGirl is researching how many calories and fat is in whole can of olive oil cooking spray and olivio butter spray since the database lists 0 calories regardless of servings (1 serving = 1/4 second and 5 sprays respectively). Because really, who is the world sprays for only 1/4 second???

RawrGirl and My Fitness Pal: Part 4

RawrGirl has decided that she HATES My Fitness Pal.

After several hours of adding recipes, researching just how much fat and calories are in Olive Oil Spray at a reasonable 3 seconds and Butter Spray at 9 sprays, discovering that it won't track the calories burned for specific weight training exercises unless she just lists a random general time, and that it won't track net carbs, and worst of all, that no matter how many times she tells it that 800 calories is her goal, it insists that her goal is 1270 calories, so it's always saying that she has 470 calories left over, she has decided that she is done. Finished. No more. My Fitness Pal is NOT for RawrGirl.

Diet/Fitness Entry

RawrGirl uses Microsoft Excel to track her food. She has done this for months, possibly years, and is quite pleased with it, as she can track her net carbs, add make whatever caloric goal she pleases. RawrGirl likes Excel. Excel does not wig out on her. Excel is her friend. RawrGirl apologizes to Excel for being seduced by the evil seductress, My Fitness Pal, and hopes that she is forgiven and that Excel will take her back without any hard feelings.

DIET

Breakfast: Protein Shake

Lunch: Protein Shake

Dinner: Grilled Chicken with butter and Parmesan cheese / Bacon, jalepeno cream cheese quesadilla


FITNESS

Strength Training: Lower Body

Cardio: Figure Skating (60 minutes)

Flexibility: 20 min. Stretch Routine
 
Oh no! I feel responsible for RawrGirl's MFP meltdown. Apologies! I can only hope that she at least burned some calories while banging her head repeatedly on the keyboard!
