Aw, sorry you're down today too! Maybe our body clocks are aligning after spending so much time here together? Ha ha ha!!

At least we can have a little (or big in my case) moan in our diaries rather than turning to food. Hope you have a great weekend that doesn't involve spending money. Nice autumn walk would be really good and help with weight loss too!

Looking for work sucks ass. Praying for a lottery win here (would help if I bought a ticket I suppose!!)

Enjoy your time with PC. Know how the broke thing feels - have used up every bit of squirreled cash (I am one of those that puts money into boxes for upcoming birthdays, or if I had extra at the end of the month I'd launch a "new laptop" fund but they always seem to get spent on stuff like dd's hurling helmet, or the dog's trip to vet ... now I have nothing left bar a bag of 20cents ... oh well. At least I wont actually starve :D Catch up soon.

She should be back soon! Last I heard she was waiting for someone to call in and activate a new modem.

Finally have internet!

RawrGirl is finally back. Yea! And wishes to thank everyone who has missed her!!! She's feels very special and liked. And she missed all of you too! :)

Yes..she did have serious issues with ISP.

For some random reason, they decided to add a dial tone to her DSL line -- without informing her, mind you, or ever sending her a bill. Therefore, 2 weeks ago tomorrow, they cut off her internet. After an hour and a half on the phone that Monday night, they inform her to make a payment. So she does. The next day, still no internet After a another hour and half on the phone, they realize the whole DSL line problem, and insist they don't know how to take the dial tone off her DSL line. (They do however, admit their mistake, and credit her account the $218 they thought she owed.) They then say they will try to fix. 48 hours later, after no one has called her back, RawrGirl decides, the heck with this, she is getting a new ISP.

So, she gets that all settled and by the next Monday, she has the new ISP modem. When she tries to activate her internet, it doesn't work as she apparently had a back balance owed from years ago. So then she has to wait till this past Friday (when Prince Charming got paid) to pay that. Then the new ISP can't just reactivate the account, they say they have to issue the work order all over again, and that it won't be ready until 6pm on Saturday.

So yesterday, at 6pm, RawrGirl tries to activate her internet ..and it says her account is still not found. She calls new ISP again, and discovers that their printer must be dyslexic, because it printed out her account number wrong...which they had sent her with the modem. So...now armed with the correct account number, she types it into the screen again, and it say...Opps, our system is down. Please call our 800 number.

By this time, Prince Charming and RawrGirl are ready to spend some time together as they have been on the road all day (11 hours as Prince Charming had to work.) So today, after church and a nice afternoon with some friends (where RawrGirl ate too much), she came home and tried again...and this time it worked.

Within 2 minutes of getting internet, Prince Charming's laptop died. :eek:

It just repeatedly displays the Blue Screen of Death. So while he sat at RawrGirl's computer trying to google ways to fix it (to no avail), RawrGirl jumped on her elliptical and burned 300 calories to make up for overeating.

Then...since she and Prince Charming could not both be on the internet together, they watched a movie, then had dinner.

So yes, RawrGirl finally has internet again. And most likely, she will be able to catch up on all her threads and friends' diaries tomorrow, though she does warn everyone that it will be a rather atypical Monday as 1) Prince Charming has off (due to his 11 hour Saturday), and 2) They will be taking his laptop to the repair shop and hopefully getting it fixed if it's affordable.

So that has been the reason RawrGirl has not had internet for 2 weeks. However, other than this weekend, she has stuck to her diet 100% in all that time, and has not missed a single weight training workout. :D
 
What a total nightmare...that was alot of money to hand over with no proof that you owed the debit.

Good work with the healthy living hope laptop gets fixed sounds like an exspensive month!

Finally have fat pics!

Ok, so mother-in-law sent RawrGirl the pic from Christmas 2009 when she was at her heaviest, but once again, she is hiding from the camera, so there is no full shot. Grrr.

What's really ironic is these next pics are of me 10 pounds lighter -- but as a bridesmaid I couldn't hide from the camera, so you finally you get to see the "real" RawrGirl. These are at 162. So imagine another 10 pounds here, and that is RawrGirl at her blimpiest. :(

Once-A-Month Treat Weekend

Well, this past weekend was RawrGirl's once-a-month "treat", and while she did not binge, she did eat more than she had wanted.

Original Caloric Goal was:

Friday: 2000 (pizza)

Saturday: 1500

Sunday: 1500 (usually 1200, but Prince Charming had off, so another night of drinks, hehe)

Total: 5000

I was not supposed to eat surgery foods or binge just because I was out of Ketosis from the pizza, and while I didn't, I still choose some foods Sat and Sun that are normally off limits, such as 1/2 cup of mac and cheese on Saturday and fried foods, an inch brownie square, and 1/4 a chocolate chip muffin . *sigh* Anyway...


Actual Caloric Count:

Friday: 1702

Saturday: 1739

Sunday: 2115 - 300 = 1815

Total: 5256 (actually consumed 5556, but she intentionally burned 300 off Sunday on the elliptical). So 256 over. RawrGirl guesses that's not too bad, but she was really trying to test her resolve to see how she will do over the holidays. RawrGirl has been known to put on 20 pounds over Christmas week! :eek:

On a happy note, both Saturday and Sunday morning, the measuring tape still showed waist at slightly below 30 (29 3/4), so RawrGirl was quite happy to discover that when at goal, she can eat carbs without immediately bloating with so much water that her new outfit will no longer fit half way through the evening! :D
 
Oh I so missed you on here, it's great to have you back. I'm even taking a break from food porn (Adam Richman's Amazing Eats, Pork Special *drool*) to post here, and you know that must be an honour if i'm sacrificing food porn for you :) :)

I actually think you look great in those pics! You make a really beautiful bridesmaid. One thing I notice though, you can tell from your expression in each photo that you're not comfortable with yourself. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if I (or anyone else) thinks you look fab (which you do pretty lady!) if you don't feel it. Mr. McFatterson tells me I look great no matter my weight but that doesn't make me feel any better because I hate the way I look. Maybe it makes me shallow but I know I'm much happier when I'm slimmer. Being richer would be nice too but I shouldn't be greedy...! X

Got to say you don't look comfortable in those pics and tbh I think a lot of it is the dresses fault! You can't put girls with boobs in high round neck full fabric bodices like that.

RawrGirl does not agree. She felt horrid and ugly.

However, RawrGirl did feel pretty in her own wedding pics...she will share them next.

Prince Charming says that all the time too. RawrGirl doesn't agree...but it does make her feel better, as he is rather convincing, hehe. And RawrGirl does not think that is shallow...she thinks it's normal to feel confident when one knows they look their best.
 
Wedding Pics

RawrGirl likes about 1/3 of her wedding pics, which was way more than she thought she would. She was hoping for 5, maybe 10. When she first got them back from photographer, she was actually pretty devastated because all she saw were the ones she didn't like. It took her a few months of not looking at them at all, to be able to go back and look again, and realize there were quite a few that she actually thought she looked quite pretty in.

So here are a few of her favorites. She is approx 153 here. She is also wearing a corset, false eyelashes, and hair extensions. :D

This last one is photoshopped -- RawrGirl smoothed out the smile "bags" under her eyes, and shaved off a bit from the side of her face so it looked thinner (and not chubby like the ones above).

RawrGirl had a fairy tale themed wedding. Music was played from Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Instead of the tables being numbered, there was a Cinderella table with a glass slipper, a Snow White table marked with a half-eaten apple, a Sleeping Beauty table with a toy wooden spinning wheel, etc. The frustrating part though, was she could only afford to rent the "castle" (huge stone mansion with extensive gardens) for little more than 3 hours, so everything was VERY rushed. All the decorations and stuff (except for the table markers) were plastic, she made the food herself, the flowers were all fake, etc. She was very disappointed as it was say vows, eat, kick everyone out, clean up. *sigh* O well. But she got what she wanted -- pics outside the "castle" that would last a life time. :)
