Breaking bad habits and getting to target.

I did the two classes last night and surprisingly I am not too sore today. Dont get me wrong - I can feel muscles and part of me i didnt know I had that hurt, but I expected to be worse! Spin was so good. OH came with me, and he is pretty fit, but he found it tough!

Tuesday 18th Jan - Red Day
B - Scrambled egg, smoked salmon, mushrooms, plum tomatoes, 1 ww br & bertolli light - 5
L - 6 crackerbread (HEXB), cottage cheese, Mango, melon & grapes. Ww yogurt
S - banana & Satsuma
D - Leftover Beef casserole, 227g Jkt pot made into wedges (HEXB), broccoli, green beans
Sins - 1 Br & spread - 5, option hot choc - 2
Exercise - 55 mins DVD (Jillian Michaels, last chance workout)
HexA - Milk for Tea and coffee. 1 HExa spare - maybe will nibble on some cheese?!

Late post for me today. Had a meeting that took me 2 hours to get to - so was starving by lunchtime, as I usually eat at 12 - and i didnt get to have it till 2!! WI tonight...am hopeful..

Wed 19th Jan - Red Day
B - 1 WW br (1/2 HEXB), Scrambled egg, smoked salmon, mushrooms
L - Piri Piri chicken, melon & pineapple, alpen light (other 1/2 HEXB)
D - Prawns & Pasta (HEXB) 28g parmesan (HEXA), spinach, mushrooms, onion & Garlic. Creme Fraiche - 2.
Other HEXA - Milk for hot drinks.
S - Bertolli light on brekkie - 2, creme Fraiche - 2 = 4
 
Early start today for me, up at 5:35, and in the gym for 6! Feeling good after my workout, so hoping this lasts all day!
Went to WI last night and 0.5lb off. Whilst I would have liked more, I know my own pattern that when i really push it at the gym, i dont lose much for 2-3 weeks and then it starts again, so at least I am prepared. I am also back to main Red / Green days, as I know that they work better for me than EE, which is a shame as I like EE - but sticking to what I know works!

Thursday 20th Jan - Red Day
B - 28g Oats (HEXB), Skimmed Milk (HEXA) Banana, TBSP syrup - 3
L - SW quiche (onion, tomato & bacon), Salad. WW cherry yog, 2 satsumas. Alpen light - 3
S - Melon & Pineapple
D - Chicken, topped with bacon, SW BBQ sauce and 42g Cheddar (HEXA), 227G pot, made into wedges (HEXB), Some veg (not decided what yet?!) 1 x Spoon lf coleslaw - 2.5
Sins - syrup - 3, coleslaw - 2.5, alpen light - 3, options hot choc - 2 =10.5
Exercise - 1 hour cardio, done. 55 Mins DVD - this evening

Feeling very virtous with myself! Out with sis for drinks tomorrow, and have planned to bring with me low alchol wine (2s per glass) to have a tipple before we head out. Only out for a hour or so so will have voddie & Diet mixer, and then a few LA wines at the house. Perfect! Going to have my main meal at lunch tomorrow, and then have a snack with me to have at hers before we go out.

Bringing brekkie for sat too, staying on plan!

Meeting the some friends on Sat for lunch (in prezzo - were i know they have a few lighter choice pasta's) and then a few drinks in the eve, again, will be having the low alcohol wine! so all in all, I will be saving a few sins for the weekend - but i cant see myself going over at all on Friday, and maybe by max 5-10 on Sat!

I am super happy and feel very much 'in control'!

I have to say - dinner last night was sooo yummy! Im so making the BBQ sauce again, sin free and really tasty (from the saucy secrets book). Defo a new staple in our house :)

Spinning this morning at 7am, and my legs are feeling the burn now!

Friday 21st Jan - Green Day
B - SW quiche, (42g bacon - 0.5 HEXB), mushrooms, 2 quorn sausage
L - Jkt pot with beans, 42g cheddar (HEXA), Alpen light (other 0.5 HEXB), apple, pear
S - 2 satsuma, mullerlight
D - Mugshot, fibre+ bar (HEXB) light dinner, as having main meal at lunch
Exercise - 45 mins spin - done
Sins - going to have a few drinks later, so will allow my full 15. Thinking 2-3 vodka (7.5 max), and 3x Low alcohol wine (6) = 13.5

Have had such a lovely weekend so far - visitng family and friends, and having lots of fun! I have counted up my Sins for Friday & Sat night, and I still have some left for the week. Just got in from a nice walk with OH around a local lake, now going to settle down with a cuppa and a fivre+. Bliss.

Sunday 23rd Jan - Extra Easy
B - n/a
L - Jkt pot, Baked Beans, bacon, 42g cheese (HEXA), side salad. 1 x xl cheese triangle - 1
S - Fibre+ (HEXB)
D - moroccan meatballs, cous cous 0.5s. Aubergine, mushrooms, red onion, red pepper.
Exercise - 3.5 mile walk.
Sins - trangle, 1, cous cous 0.5, options hot choc 2 =3.5

Monday 24th Jan - Extra Easy

B - Bacon, scrambled egg, Baked Beans, Mushrooms
L - Home made tomato & red pepper soup, 5x scan bran (HEXB), 3 x XL cheese triangles (0.5 HEXA), apple, pear, 2 x satsuma
D - Chilli on carne (extra lean mince, onion, garlic, kidney beans, chopped toms, celery, mushrooms, pepper), rice, natural yog, Side salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pepper, spring onion. 21g reduced fat cheddar grated on top (0.5 HEXA)
Exercise - 45 mins spin class, 1 hour body balance
Sins 0 (keeping sin free after hectic weekend)

The chilli is in my slow cooker ready for when I get home late this evening after spinning. Lovely!

Morning all.
Really enjoyed my spin class last night. Did 1 hour body balance before it, and it was a new release, so that was tough! Swimming tonight and running tomorrow - so should be getting a new body magic award some time soon!

Tuesday 25th Jan - Extra Easy

D - Gammon (which is in slow cooker - I love my slow cooker!), mash (made with 1 x XL cheese triangle - 1, and splash milk from HEXA, and a spoon of ff Nat yog to make it creamy), Cabbage & green Beans
Exercise - 50 lengths on the pool
Sins - Syrup, - 3, 1 cheese triangle - 1 = 4

Ur exercising is such an inspiration! I might get on the wii and play just dance later. I'm using uni work as an awful excuse to lay about in my PJs.

Exercise - 5 mile run
Sins - 2 for options hot choc, 3 for alpen light = 5

@ Sazzler - I think you prob can watch online. The US series is on living, so I am sure they have a catch up function.

So I am well happy about the loss last night! 2lb till i get my 2.5 stone shiny and I'd love to have it next week....Heres hoping!

Thursday 27th Jan - Extra Easy

L - Tuna & cottage cheese on a JP, side salad of lettuce, tomato & cucumber. Pineapple, Pear

D - Chicken, bacon, 42g cheddar (HEXA), smothered in SW BBQ sauce, home made wedges and green beans - I had this last week and its bloomin lovely!

I have started trying to drink green tea at work, as i used to drink it, but gagged with every sip. My palate has clearly changed, as actually, I rather enjoyed the last cup!

Yay! Its the weekend! Hurrah!

Really really enjoyed swimming last night, did 50 lengths, and then chilled in the steam room to clear out those pores. Nice.

Tonight I have an hours spin this eve after work, running tomorrow and then seeing the girls tomorrow night. Cant wait.

Friday 28th Jan - Extra Easy
B - Baked Beans, quorn sausage x2, poached eggs x2
L - Chicken salad (lettuce, spring onion, tomato, cucumber, celery), pineapple, pear
S - 2x satsuma, Banana
D - Home made cheese & bacon burgers (HEXA), with wedges, Salad (as before) spoon coleslaw - 2.5, and 57g brown roll to pop the burger in (HEXB). Sw Bbq sauce.
Exercise - 45 min spin class
Sins - coleslaw - 2.5, 1 x 175ml red wine - 6 = 8.5

Green Tea...I have the Tetley's Lemon one, but I have to have 4 sweetners otherwise I think it tastes awful!
 
Laughing Meli - I have to add sweetner to mine! The first few sips are ok, but at the bottom...noooooo!!

Out tonight with a load of my friends. We do an annual drinks thing, so prob about 20 girls hitting the town, cant wait. Body Magic today will be mainly dancing to groovy 80's tunes in a rewind bar! woo!

Saturday 29th Jan - Green Day

Happy Monday! Or should I say sleepy Monday - I am wrecked! Meant to have 2 classes at the gym tonight, but even now I am 50/50 on whether I will go as I am just whacked. hmmm...
Weekend was good, drunk and ate all of my sins (oops!) but had such a great time with my friends, it was worth it. So am on minimal sins until Weds. Going away with work Wed - Fri, so wont be getting to WI, so being ultra good so that next week I have hopefully counteracted the badness and still might swing a loss. We'll see!

Monday 31st Jan - Extra Easy
B - 28g oats (HEXB), skimmed milk (HEXA), banana, syrup -3
L - Chilli with boiled rice and side salad, apple, 2 satsuma, mullerlight
D - lamb steak, roasted veggies (courgette, pepper,mushrooms, onion, aubergine, cous cous. Corriander dip (made with ff nat yog, fresh corriander)
Sins - 3

Weekly total - overdrawn!!!!!!
