Cambridge Diet Weightloss Record Thread. Please add your story!

Wow, what amazing tales upon this thread, all started by Summerskye in 2008 (wonder how she is doing now?)
I certainly don't feel so alone with my struggles now.
I guess what I've learned is that I'm just another grain of sand on the beach of humanity and that we are all imperfect. That's the way it is, so I guess that's perfect.
Waxing lyrical I know :D...but if I don't write I eat :D

Here's is to all our successes :clap::clap: x

Really enjoyed reading this thread. Inspiring and honest. Thanks for sharing.

I am on day five of my second journey and all the details are in my signature.

Love and hugs xx

Hi There, hope you dont mind me joining but read some of the good sucess rates and liked this for the support. Well it was my first week weight in today on the cambridge diet my start weight was 14st10.5lbs, i got weight this am and i am now 14st2.5lb so lost 7.5lbs in a week. Althought i felt disheartened as i thought i would have got some more but i was inactive over the week (apart from running a busy ward lol) but i thought i would have got more but i guess the slower the better or is this a good weight loss? I have read womena have lost like 14lbs or that on a week one. All support welcome x

This is such an inspiring thread! Thanks all for sharing your experiences, will definately be returning for a re read when I am having a bad day :D

I started 3 years ago lost 8.5 stone put 9 back on in 1.5 years not doing maintenance ect I have come back and done 12 weeks lost 4 stone 9. The most important thing is change your ways after and make sure you follow the MAINTENANCE. I got too cocky after that I had in control I had to realize I will always have o be on top of my weight.

I was trying to hold out from weighing myself until one week in. i am four days in and weighed myself this morning and i am down to 67 from 68.4kg - which is just over 3lbs I think!

First year wedding anniversary and a fat wife, I need wine!

I was trying to hold out from weighing myself until one week in. i am four days in and weighed myself this morning and i am down to 67 from 68.4kg - which is just over 3lbs I think!

Hi all,

4th day, think i am on sole source + as having 3 soups and 200kcal meal, do not like sweet things so cud not stomach porridge and shakes.

Last July 30 th i got married at 15st 8 and felt great on the day, am 5'9 and dont feel the need to be a ten but sunday night i weighed in at 17st 1lb and cried, a lot! So monday came the lady and weighed me on her scales at 16st 10.

I never stick to diets, never maintain and just want to get back to who i was when he met me so i feel sexy, he always says i am gorgeous but you know yourself that when ur gut is popping out the bottom of a basque it ain't pretty!

Thing is really want to snack and just had a mini iceberg lettuce with pepper on, wtf?

Also terrifed of the weekend, i usually drink, socialise, have takeaways and other than exercise, which i despise, cannot think of what to do to keep myself occupied, can anyone help? I have no kids and teach so also have 6 wks looming including 2 three day trips abroad and first anniversary weekend away at the races, was this a terrible time to start?

I started on SS on Friday my weight was 10stone 5
Not feeling to good so far really feel like giving in
I'm not hungry I just feel bad tempered and have really bad headaches will it get better?
Trying to loose 1 stone I'll update you with my results on Friday

An amazing thread!! There is never a good time to start ther is always some social event or holiday looming. It is tricky at first but after 3 weeks you won't look back and have a grin on your face and feel lighter and brighter! I have a lot more energy than I used to have already and only beginning the journey of get slim fast and maintain it.

First few days are hard, take paracetomol get to bed early sleep in the day if you can and drink loads and loads of water aim for 4 litres!!! It will make you feel better!

Good luck ! x

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum but I thought I'd share my story so far! I've been on CWP for 10 weeks all in all now. I had a 3 weeks break in the middle when I moved house and when I ran out of products I remained healthy and still lost 2lbs! Anyway... Christmas 2011 I was at my highest weight at 16st10lbs. I started eating healthily and walking more and lost a stone on my own, but when I plateaued I knew I needed to do something new. I started CWP at 15st10lbs and I am now 13st13lbs which I think makes a 25lb loss? (maths is not my strong point!) either way... I'm doing pretty well! I'm on step 2 (or 810 as I think it was called) but quite often I just have 2 shakes and a high protein meal a day. Usually a shake in the morning, a tetra at lunch and then either chicken/fish and veg at dinner.
Everyone's commenting on how much I've lost and asking me what my goal weight is. Fact is, I can't tell them. I've never been thin in my adult life so I might get to 12 stone and be happy. Or I might want to be 10 and a half? Who knows! Just keep going until I'm happy. I'm 7lbs away from being the thinest I've been in my adult life, so I can't wait to get it off in the next few weeks!
Good luck everyone, we can do it!

Wow some amazing weight loss results here! Just started ss today. Porridge was disgusting but the bar was nice with a cup of tea! What can I expect over the next few days? Also doing a 14 mile hike on saturday thinking about taking an extra couple of bars just in case? I need to lose a stone and a half!!!!
