Can this REALLY work??

I washed the car and had a lovely soak in the bath before DD came home. Had snack of mullerlight (vanilla with chocolate sprinkles) and an alpen light -1/2 hexB. Fantastic frylighted tea at mums-chicken, roast potatoes, leek, carrot,parsnip, brocoli and cauliflower with gravy-5 syns-yummy!!! Resisted any pudding and just had an apple. Going to have a mug of tea and another alpen light (half hexB) shortly-oh and another half apple that DD has just left!. Very happy with 5 syns for my day.
 
Feel dreadful today-very dizzy. Taken Dd to school and going back to bed for a couple of hours before work.
Plan for today:
skimmed milk coffee-hexA
L-Frylighted fryup inc plenty of mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans-2 small WM bread-hexB.Melon and grapes.
T-Roast veg, couscous and 0% greek yoghurt.
Will take an apple and an alpen bar to work (3 syns) as won't get my tea until after 8.
 
Well my days gone well. After a rest this morning I felt much better. Lunch was as planned but just had grapes afterwards. Didn't eat at work at all-had a cup of tea though-1/2 syn for the spot of milk.
Just had my tea-the couscous, roast veg and 2 dryfryed extra lean (cut the fat off-will cook it for my cats tomorrow-lucky chaps!!) pork loin steaks. Had a dollop of 0% geek yogurt with it-yummy. Just want something sweet now so I'm going to have a mullerlight and a timeout-4.5.
Todays syns-5.
Weekly syns-10. If I keep this up I can have a nice treat at the end of the week.

Morning all!!

It appears that the dizziness is when I'm laid down-strange, but feel ok this morning, though still a little head spinny. I'll go to the drs at the end of the week if it hasn't gone.
Todays plan:
B-coffee-hexA, fruit and yoghurt when my head settles.
S-apple-(going into school to read so will have at playtime).
L-ham salad with new potatoes-will syn the salad cream.
T-Extra lean beef casserole (made on sunday) with mash (going to put a bit of 0 fat cottage cheese in it, with lots of veg. Might put a little gravy granules in so will have those to syn.

That sounds ok-just have to see if I can stick to it!!.
 
Hi Emma-stuck to it fairly well.

I'd not thought of that Roziee-normally I would say no way but after my treatment my loss was much much heavier and longer than normal. I'm eating plenty of lean meat now that I'm back on SW so I would hope that if thats whats wrong it will rectify itself. If not I'll go to the docs.

Right todays food:
milk-hexA
apple
Enormous salad-cucumber, tomatoes, onion, grated carrot, leaves, with ham, egg and new potatoes. Salad cream-1.5 syns.
Alpen bar.
Lean beef made into casserole with celery, leeks, onions, mushrooms, stockcube, carrots, 1 teasp gravy granules-1 syn. With mashed potato (nothing added), sprouts, leeks and peas. 2 very small yorkshire puds-3 syns.
1 2oz wholemeal roll (1/2 hexB and half 2 syns) with cottage cheese.
Thats 7.5 syns-might just treat myself to a timeout for 4.5 syns.

ETA-I had the timeout so 12 syns for the day, 22 syns for the week.

Wednesday 16th november.

Work today. Plan is milk-hexA, apple, big salad as yesterday, tea is to be pork loin steaks-probably with a mushroom, onion, stock and fromage frais sauce with either rice or pasta and veges.
 
Right-didn't have time for my apple but the rest of the day has gone as planned. 1.5 syns for salad cream and 1 for extra milk incups of tea etc. I've not had my hexB yet-not sure what to have-perhaps a bread roll with some cottage cheese for supper? Also have loads of syns left so will have a little treat.

ETA-had the bread roll-hexB and cottage cheese and a timeout-4.5 syns.

Total syns for the day-6.
Total syns for the week-28.

Thursday 17th November

Working this morning. Milky coffee-hexA. Lunch will probabaly be more salad. Tea is to be chicken with something-will decide what later.
Dizzy again this morning- and I keep getting cramp-woke me at 5 this morning in my calf after being in my foot last night. Will google what I might be deficient in later.
 
Hmmm definitely go and see the doctor speak.. Yo shouldn't be getting cramps, especially not in the middle of the night
 
Hi Roziee-think perhaps I'm not drinking enough whilst at work. Anyhow I feel ok otherwise so I'll see how it goes-have to confess, as a nurse, I'm not that impressed by doctors LOL!!!

Oh you're a nurse? How wonderful :)

I hear you about doctors.. I kept on being given anti biotics for a non existent UTI- the symptoms are coming back but I'm private now so just deal with the consultants who specialise in this stuff now. Sad, but NHS is really bad sometimes..

L-lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, beetroot, onions, leftover mash with salad cream added, ham, egg, salad cream, bread roll-hexB and 3 syns for salad cream. What a lovely lunch.
Tea is going to be chicken, probably with SW wedges and vegies or salad.
Had a lovely morning mooching round the shops looking for stocking fillers for DD and at christmassy things-haven't had time for that sort of thing since starting my new job around 7 weeks ago. I have lots of housework to do but am tempted to go for a sleep instead. Still a little dizzy at times today and feel like indulging myself.

Had a lovely tea. Frylighted chicken mini fillets, SW wedges with salt and paprika on and an enormous salad of leaves, cucumber, red onion, orange pepper and sweetcorn (it took up more than half the plate), with light mayo-3 syns I think. Will check back and see.
 
Sounds yum. Been looking at some recipes for next week that I'll batch cook this weekend., gonna make bologne bake and sticky chicken..
 
Oooh sticky chicken sounds nice-how do you make that? Ill pop on your diary and see if you've posted it

Just having a big bowl of fruit-melon, grapes and satsumas.

48.5 syns for the week. Think I might have a timeout before bed.
So that'll be 10.5 for today and 53 for the week with only 1 day of my first week properly on plan to go.
