Hi All. Today is day 2 of my Exante total solution plan. My husband and I are doing it together and this morning he weighed himself and has lost 2 lbs. he is having a porridge in the a.m and a shake for lunch then a low cal ready meal for dinner. I am strictly doing the 3 Exante packets per day (600 cal) and I haven't lost an ounce!
I have made up pitchers of Twinnings strawberry tea and added 7-10 Canderell tablet sweeteners to the 5L of tea and have refrigerated it. Will this stop me from going into ketosis? Also, can shakes, soups or pasta be made up ahead of time (4-5 hours) or will this have an affect on the nutrients? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey peg! Congrats on starting and welcome.

Firstly, try not to weigh in more than once a week if you can, doing it every day will drive you mad and I'm sure lots of us will vouch for that!!

As for the tea, you're only meant to have tea from the leaf so I'm afraid you'll probably have to bump the strawberry tea on the head. Try something green or peppermint :)

As far as I know the packs should only be made up about 15 mins else their nutrients starts to deteriorate. Hope that helps!

Don't fret about not losing weight in the first few days. You won't enter ketosis for the first few days and your body won't start consuming your body fat until then.
Drink lots of water, stick to the plan and weigh in once a week.
As an experiment, I weighed every day during my third week on Exante. I weighed at the same time every day and yet from day to day, my weight went up, down and stayed the same. Smidge is right, weighing every day will drive you mad :)
