Hi

I'm off to Glasgow in June for the Bon Jovi concert & cant wait!

Can anyone recommend somewhere for me & my mates to stay? We are planning to arrive around 10pm on the friday night & stay til the Sunday afternoon...Need somewhere close to the stadium & also the airport, but as I have never been in Glasgow I have noooo idea where I should be going, or if the stadium & airport are even close to each other!

I take it you want to go into the city centre for shopping/socialising?

Id go for a Travel Inn type place, theres a few of them, Travel Lodges, Holiday Inn Expresses in the city centre, within walking distance of the shops/nightlife. Or there are a couple at the airport

You can I believe get a train out to Hampden, and youll be around a tenner maybe for a taxi to the airport to or from the city centre

You'll love it here we are we are a great bunch of people

I used to live right next to Hampden and could hear all the concerts from my house it was fab not too good when the fooball was on though.

Mabye im mistaken but didn't you say last year you were thinking of moving to Scotland? just ignore me if im wrong

Petal, yes I was thinking of moving last year...never came to fruition but who knows what the future holds!
I have provisionally booked a place called the Sandyford Hotel....apparently its about 3 miles from the Stadium & looks ok....We are kinda muddled up though cos I am going with my sis & a mate from Dublin so am meeting them there & we want a triple room, so dint have many choices

Thanks for the link starlight, looks like it'll be easy enough to get about, only problem is my flight arrives about 945pm & the other 2 muppets arent due in til about 10.30.....gggrrrrr!!!
