Your menu would be extra easy depending on quantities of the Oats so Simple, bread, garlic bread and parmesan and how everything was cooked.

Your oats could be HEB if you had 35g or less, Parmesan HEA if 30g. Tuna, cucumber would be free, your wholemeal bread would be synned (about 4/5 syns depending on size of slice/loaf).

Your Garlic bread is a straight up syn- a standard slice of garlic bread is 4.5 syns I think.

Did you use extra lean mince for you spag bol? If yes, and it wasn't cooked in oil then it's free. Your pasta would also be free.

But your day doesn't seem to have included 1/3 superfree- none with breakfast, only cucumber with lunch, no mention of fruit. Did your bolognaise have a lot of veg in?

Also, what were you drinking? Milk in tea would need to be synned etc.

So this probably wouldn't be 100% day on SW.

Hi
Thanks for the reply and yes loads of veg in spag bol - grated corgettes & carrots, passata and onions mushrooms, peppers and mushrooms! Yes the mince was extra lean!

The oats so simple was just small sachet. Also had a banana chopped up in it!

And wow didn't realise garlic bread was so high in syns!! ( had 2 slices)

I don't drink tea or coffee and drink mainly water throughout the day.

BTW are new starters allowed to do Extra eAsy?

Yes you can choose which plan you want to follow day to day- So if you want to do EE day one then red on day 2 and green day 3 it's allowed!

Have you switched from WW?

And yes- bread is decidedly synful on SW :( You get 60g of any wholemeal bread for a healthy extra b, after that it's synned and it can be quite high. it's the hardest part of the diet for me and what I miss the most- I tend not to have any these days.

Good luck with your journey xx

totally agree!! I don't miss choccie as much as I thought i would but not having bread is a bit of a bum lol

Ha YES i've switched from WW'ers - is it that obvious!

I guess its going to take a while to get my head round it but a friend of mine has lost 5 stone on SW in just under a year and says she eats loads ;o)

Thanks ever so much for your help much appreciated! x

Hi Tracey, are you going to a group at all or will you be doing it at home?? I'm doing it at home this time round (my 2nd attempt at SW!) but I found my group to be a lifesaver when I was just starting out!

Even though I'm quite comfortable with the plans, I'm still an online member to get all the goodness from that (Syn calculator, Food Diary, recipes, etc.)

I miss bread too, I've been toying with swapping to we so I can eat the odd bagel tbh! But en I remembered I could have one if I really wanted to on sw. In fact I may buy some tomorrow & have one as my late night snack with my healthy a of philly light :)

The key for me is 1/3 superfree, that's with every meal not just your evening meal. I also try to keep all of my snacks superfree although lots of people manage to do well on free snacks like mullerlight, mugshots, low fat supernoodles etc...

It's funny because a lot of the regular SW'ers have recently switched to WW, so it's nice that it's working the other way too. I've been successful with SW and my Mum has been successful with WW so I know they both work, it's just a case of deciding the best one for you x
