Hey!

I need some serious motivation and I'm hoping that posting here will help me to stay on track. My first day on Exante will be tomorrow, I'm going for 100% Total Solution to help me lose about 2st!

I'm going to weigh in every Sunday but update my diary as often as I can so that I can keep track of how I'm feeling and look at other peoples for motivation!

I'm a complete newbie to this so if anyone has any tips they'd like to share to help me I would be super appreciative!

Hey Holly good luck, one tip I'd give you having almost past week 1 is if ever you really feel like eating or drinking something off plan, know that if you don't give in eventually the craving will totally pass and you'll feel so much better for it. I really felt like coming off at the weekend, Friday night, then woke up Saturday feeling the same, got past everyone eating around me Saturday evening and now the desire to eat has gone and I feel good for knowing I didn't.

Also to try to remember how much better it will feel to eat what you want (in moderation) when you are at your ideal weight instead of eating what you want now good luck !

Thank you so much for your advice! I think writing on here will help me as I don't really have anyone to talk to about this in RL. I am going to weigh myself in a bit and I'm really nervous! Wish me luck!
 
OK so I just weighed myself for my starting weight. Not a pretty sight but I'm determined to get 2.5st off as my end goal!

Ideally I'd like to lose this by September - but I think my weight is quite stubborn and I don't know what's achieveable yet on Exante!

I'm setting myself an interim target of 1.5 stone by end of July! I'm going to have my first shake in about an hour so I'll let you know what I think of it!

DAY 1 has officially started!!!! Eeeeeek

So far this morning I have forced myself to drink 600ml of water and had my first shake!

I went for the Mint Chocolate one first, and I blended it up with some ice - it was actually really nice! I can definitely say these are nicer than my last shake diet endeavour!

My problem is I love savoury food, so I'm going to have to get some of the hot meals as well (I only have bars & shakes at the moment) or I don't know if I'll be able to maintain it for as long.

I am planning on having another 600mls of water and then having a bar for lunch - I'm feeling slightly peckish at the moment but I think water should sort that out! I need to venture out to the shops to get some pet food so need to avoid temptation whilst I'm out!

I am just finishing week 10, lost just over 3 stone.
Drink lots of water, you will miss 'chewing' food but try and resist, but if you do slip, accept it, draw a line under it and move on. we all do it, just don't let it turn into a huge thing!

Sound like you are doing well for your first day, 1.5 stone is very doable by the end of July, would be surprised if you don't do more than that! x

Last night my family had take away pizza and today we went out and they had hotdogs and an ice cream it was torture but I stayed strong and didn't cave.

Wow Natty! That's amazing loss! I've nearly drunk 2 litres of water today which is basically unheard of so I'm really pleased!

I have had a really bad headache this afternoon but I didn't cave! Just done my last shake and I'm actually feeling alright now!

Wow Day 3! How are you feeling? Oh that's the worst - pizza is literally my fave food - you must feel so proud of yourself for being so strong!

I've had the worst headache this afternoon but I didn't run to the bread like I normally would haha!

What's your target? Maybe we could buddy up as fellow newbies and help each other stay strong :)
