How little were your bad choices?

Jayellekay

this time - the last time
I have been reading through my diary from earlier on the year, and came across this. For those of you who weren't around at the beginning of the year have a little read. It was eye opening for me!
(I can't take credit for this - I think it belonged to Surfhunny)

Every pound of fat is an overeat of 3,500 calories.

Wow!

So I started at 16st 6. My bmi 25 weight is 9st 2.

So 102lbs overweight.

3,500calories x 102lb is 357,000

I was last a healthy weight in December 2003. (7 years ago).

357,000 calories divided by 7years is an overeat of 51,000 calories per year.

365 days in a year equals an overeat of just 140 calories a day!

That's just 35 jelly beans!
Or
A WW chocolate eclair
Or
3 fingers of a Kit Kat
Or
3/4 of a bag of cadbury's buttons!

Wow. That has made my head spin!

I really should have said "no" just once a day more than I did, and I wouldn't be overweight. That's mad.

since losing weight, now I think to myself, yes that will matter. Leaving a bite of food on the plate, making better choices and not thinking how it wont make much difference.
It just shows us that the little things DO count! :]

This is scary info and shows just how carefull you hav to be about every little thing!!!

Omg that is scarey statistics. Im never eating again lol... Seriously tho this cd diet does make you think about choices more as you go up through the steps.

wow! well this diet has definitely made me think hard about all the places i went wrong! and i am slowly drilling it into my head that when i start to eat again i will choose healthier options and i am already thinking about what options they will be.

makes u think tho. thanx for that
