I'm doing so well lasting for 4 days (well i think so anyway) and i really do NOT want to fall off the wagon, weekends for me are the killer.
I've been on so many diets and failed due to having a glass or 3 of wine ;)

Does anyone have any tips for me to get through til monday unscathed? At the moment i am avoiding my friends who think i'm being ridiculous not eating "proper" food, as i know it really doesnt help.

Would a diet buddy help...if so is there anybody who would like to be mine? :help2:

Hey you can join us in sugar plum fairies in open/main cd thread. We are mixed bunch of all ages, some ss'ing and others strugglers and re-starters. But we are friendly bunch that can kick hard up bum if needs be. Chat most days so if you need daily reminder, it's there.
Good luck, face mask, paint nails, cream full body so at target body has been well groomed in prep?

PS is this your first time doing CD? Week 1 is a killer, but does get lots easier.

Thanks flowey i will come and have a chat....and yes this is my first time so I'm just trying to find my feet..lol..to be able to see them would be good!! x

Long story but I had a weekend off so am in theory on day4 again. Just started to feel better this eve after feeling very lethargic today. Week 1 is grit your teeth stuff, but weeks 2+ are fine.
You can do this, 1 hr at a time. I cetainly put off socialising for a couple of weeks until I was happy CD'ing and socialising. I think its wise to get a couple of weeks under your belt. It's all for the better good. Come say hi.

I hate weekends!
I have always hated weekends...
I don't know why, I just do!
So now i HATE weekends with CD too :)

I think it might be difficult with the lack of routine that the weekend brings... Normally I am very structured with CD but at weekends we have no structure at all... So for me too weekends are hard....

Hope you find this one will sail past for you xx

I'm finding fri eve really hard. I nearly blew it tonight, had to give myself a really good talking to and read some of the messages on here. This reminded me why I was doing it. I had a hot drink and a bath and think I've got over it. Besides I don't want the guilt feelings on sat morning. Try to distract yourself is my advice.

Friday and Saturday evenings are definitely the hardest for me - all you can do is the bath/pamper thing until you break the habits of snacking/wine/X Factor!
Also, someone suggested those gloves that you wear on top of posh handcream - to distract your hands or something? x

I agree with you tillyfloss my weekends are not very structured. I have been off work this week so am quite apprehensive about how i'll find that aswell.
I work in an office where people are always offering out treats...its not the hunger that gets you its the questions from people i expect, i work with some very over opinionated people and can hear their responses now lol
I think its going to be a question of not socialising for a while until i get to grips with everything properly x

I also work in an office where there are constantly cakes being offered round..people bringing in sweets on a Friday etc.
Funnily enough though I opted to start on a Friday and do my first few days over a weekend. This is because I knew I'd be able to distract myself at home - having a bath etc is actually really good advice.
But I knew if I was sitting at work surrounded by fine food, while feeling hungry and tired..I'd cave.

This will be my first weekend and I started Monday ahhh im so scared i will fail, but we are meeting my husbands parents who we havent seen in ages for a meal (marvelous) so I will be there with my tetra and my water, even got passed the pizza night and made my husband still order his, so I have to focus focus focus.

I have bought some pamper products to tighten my skin with wraps and some false tan so daily treats on a night when I feel I need food will help hopefully.

I'm the opposite! Weekday evenings are horrible for me, as the house is totally empty during the week, and boredom makes idle snacking reaally tempting.

Weekends everyone is back home, time flies and I don't even think about food!

It's OK for you lot, the weekend is just 2 days, weekdays are 5 days :( Finding week 2 so much harder than week 1, no idea why, feeling like I might give up :(

Am new to CD ss, this is day 4 & my 1st wkd. So far its been good as I no longer feel hungary, however I am missing sitting down to a proper meal with the family. I just keep reminding myself its not for the rest of my life and the end result is going to be worth it. I look at my little girl think of the health issues re being over weight, that has kept me on track and motivated. :)

Luci, don't give up please.
I know this diet is ready hard and for some its week 2 not 3.
I'm going to see if you posted somewhere else about this, or try to pm you.
Otherwise I'll come back here! Stay strong.

Don't give up! Some days it really is hard, but the next you might find it isn't so bad! xxx

Girls, how did the weekend go for you all?

Hi All, Yep same here during the working day (office) I can be really good with the water and product for lunch etc as I look at this forum for focus, but then come the evenings & weekends I am thinking about food all the time!!!!

Just starting (again) last Tuesday on 810 to get me into the swing, then from Weds SS+.

I really want to do it this time, I just need to stick with it,,,,,, do you find it's easier to eat nothing ie SS, than have the green & white meal,,, which gets you thinking about food all over again?!

My weekend was not too bad...well actually it was a struggle really..lol...i've got into the habit of having at least a few glasses of red wine every weekend and just not being able to treat myself was really difficult.
BUT...on the positive side i realise that those few glasses of red wine were pretty much a big factor in my weight creeping up, i have a few glasses, loosen up a bit, start picking, then consume everything in the cupboard, fridge and freezer lol...so it has been a lesson learnt.

How's everyone elses been? x x
