Definately. The ferry we go on only sails at 8.30pm and you are sailing for 11hrs so have to book a cabin. The cabins are nice. Very clean and very nice en suite shower room and thats without upgrading
I guess it is really. Its a really nice start to the holiday. Its really still you dont even know your sailing. I managed to walk from one end to the other with a pint in one hand (Marks) and a cocktail for me (yes ladies i had a drink!!!!!!), i didnt even spill a drop!
We go from portsmouth to st malo.
We always fly and hire a car, but once we move over there I think we are going to be driving over. We did drive once from Folkestone to Dunkerque, then on to Montpellier. Never again and that's without Kids.
Lol. Moving out there? Which part? I must admit we used to fly but we now tow the caravan so have to drive. Its great as our holiday starts at the ferry port and i cant say enough about the crossing we use, its fantastic and really geared up for the kids with a little indoor play area, free "disney" kids little cinema, 2 big cinemas, magic shows, discos, bar, on the way back during the day they do colouring competitions.........the list is endless
