Could be, I just love soups and its the only way I can eat vegs as I am not keen on a lot of it, I changed my mind and had mushroom soup instead need to change it on my food diary. xx

Hey jane. Pinched from belletabbycat

Dead easy. Tub of quark, juice of 1 lemon, 4tbspn sweetener 3 egg yokes mix together put in oven proof dish for 10 mins on gas mark 4 (I did about 150 electric) doesn't set so don't expect it to. Meanwhile beat egg whites with 4tbspn sweetener to soft peaks. Then add to top of lemon mixture and bake. I was told 5 mins but did mine more like 20 as wasn't going golden. Really enjoyed. And is free! Felt v special. I love lemon and was fab. I'd check sweetness before you add eggs to quark mix in case you want it sweeter

Decided to stop going to sw it will be my last day tomorrow, been calorie counting on another site and it seems to be going alright, so going to do it at home, can't leave hubby any more he's seem to be getting worse and I don't want to be not here if anything happens to him, just having a shower and going to the loo has knocked him out for 5hours, he's in so much pain all he wants to do is sleep, so its easy for me to do it from home. x

Jane.. u have to do what's best for u and your husband. . Cant the doctors give him stronger pain killers.? It sounds like he is in a lot of pain. Do u get any help with him ? Pls tell me if im being nosey. I dont mean to pry but what actually does he suffer from. I know u have told me before.
Hope u will still pop back to see us

We don't have any help only me and him, he is on 30 tablets aday with pain patches, he has intractable chronic pain 24/7, he is on the maximum pain tablets he can take for life.

I will still be on here doing cc and sw together, I need this to keep me going.

Thats so bad..about your husband. There are some in the nhs arent to be trusted or need more training. My husbands 1st wife died at the age of 29
Through negligence.
Its terrible u dont get any help. . Bet he gets really down and frustrated.
Love to you both x x
And im glad ur sticking around x

Jane can you not get any respite care? Is there no schemes that will help you both? Seems unfair you are there doing things on your own..

No I'm his full time carer, the only time we can get help is when I have my operation on my knee when I get an new knee replacement because I will be on crutches for 6weeks, but our son and daughter will try and help a couple of days a week. X

:bighug: That's awful hun, you really are a wonderful wife ....the NHS has a lot to answer for, I pray that Chris gets as much relief as possible bless him.

OMG!!!
Jane, I have just made your Celery and Sweetcorn soup, I must admit to adding a little chilli to it, I love Chilli in everything lol, but even without it it would have been amazing.
I have to also admit, I didn't think it would taste as good as it does....WRONG!!! full of taste and outstandingly delish yum yum yum, I must also admit to having 3 bowls :giggle: couldn't get enough, good job I bought plenty of celery and sweetcorn.
Like I said up there ^^^^ you are one of the most capable cooks I have ever met and like all your recipes before I am definitely stealing this one lol
Hope you and Chris are both keeping ok ...take care my lovely xxx:bighug: xxxx

Thanks Lily, glad you like love it, its one of my favourites can't eat enough of it myself.
I'm having problems with my knee at moment finding it hard to walk having to use my walking stick and I feel old using it, going to see a specialist on Tuesday regarding my knee, hope he's going to tell me when I can have my knee op, I have a very low fresh hold when it comes to pain, where as chris he's is very very high because of the pain he's in, Chris is getting worse but the doctors said there is nothing they can do for him at moment but to carry on and try to take it slow, if he takes it any slower he will stop lol, we both are just getting on with things, I'm finding it hard to lose the weigh quickly and its getting to me, I'm trying to look for quick fixes and there isn't any, I know this but my head telling me otherwise its making me depress, my head is all over the place. xx
