Lou's Diary - onwards and inwards!

#1
Hi everyone,

Yes, I'm back again, tried and failed every single diet since I was last on here, so am coming back to what I know works.

Hope everyone is well, I can't wait to catch up on all the gossip I've missed whilst I've been AWOL. :wave_cry:

Joining group tonight and got all my meals planned for the next few days, so fingers crossed. Have got a new goal as need operation in a few months so want to lose as much as possible before then.

Will update later when I'm back from group. xx

Thanks Kikikisses, I love this forum so will be on constantly no doubt.

Just got back from group OMG - I remember why I hate staying so much, some people are so rude, it really bugs me when the fantastic consultant is talking to us etc, but other people just carry on their own conversations, not even in a whisper. Argh. If they want to sit and talk to each other and not listen, why bother coming??

Sorry rant over, hehe, also a bit annoyed that it started at half 5 and I only just got home not, was so so so hungry, though I'd be back by half 6.

Anyway, on the plus side, I can't wait to get stuck back in to it. Yippeee

If I was the consultant I'd be telling them to keep shtum it's not a mothering meeting and some people might be missing something really important.

Wednesday - day one (Green)
B: cereal and milk (1a and 1b)
S: carrot and celary sticks
L: Pasta from canteen (approx 7 syns? Must take own lunch tomorrow)
S: Yogurt
D: Tomato and chilli pasta with smoked bacon and roast peppers (1B).

Can't wait. Also, I'm not having syns like I use to (e.g. fun size choc bars) as it's too easy to binge on them, therefore I'm going to use my syns on the little extras like some mayonnaise etc.

Thanks Gem - how are you?

I've changed my food diary today, I ended up having pasta from caneen instead of jacket potato, arrgh, I've allowed 7 syns for it as not 100% sure what was in it. Only thing is, I'm having pasta for tea too... good job I like pasta hey. x

Ok thanks, I just need to be really strict with myself, I feel I know Sw inside out etc, but end up cooking the same dishes and getting bored, plus I tend to guess the syn value!!

I'm excited about it though - even contemplating an extra easy day, although I've yet to get my head around it. x

Think the plan must be starting to kick in now as I just had a massive craving for chocolate. Luckily I've not got any in the house, so opted for an options hotchoc, OMG, I didn't think it would hit the spot but it was lovely. Yuuum, now my sweet tooth is satisfied and I've discovered a new cure. xxx

That's excellent :D will take that tip with me for those cold and down days when you need a lil choccy! Good on you for being good :)

It was honestly lovely, not thin and watery at all.

Just back from my dinner out with the girls..... I had chicken caesar salad, with a tiny bit of dressing and few bits of shropshire blue cheese. It wasn't on plan, but it could have been a lot more off plan so I'm quite pleased with myself.

Best of all - I didn't have pudding and watched my two friends eat theirs. I'm off to polish my halo now, haha. x

Friday... i'm on a day off today, need to pop into town in a bit and then I'm...wait for it.... getting a new back door fitted. Haha. I'm quite disturbed by how excited I am by it, and the fact it's costing 500 quid. Arrgh.

Anyway, red day today... not 100% planned yet so this may change..

B: Scrambled egg and bacon
S: Banana
L: Warm spicy beef salad
S:
D: Possibly chilli and jacket potato with green beans

Going to sit down with book later and make food plans / shopping list for rest of week. Really want to get more speed foods in as want a good result on Tuesday. xx

I'm feeling fantastic at the moment and really in control, sw seems to have clicked back into my life, I managed to sit down for half an hour before and plan my bum off, I then went shopping and stuck to my list.

I've bought some new bits I've not tried before, so am excited about them, and some low syn snacky bits. Have written all over the box / pack how many syns they are etc, so I don't have to guess.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

x
