ProPoints Maintaining!

    Hi all

    I lost my Most my weight through cambridge diet and now following ww pro points to maintain!

    I must say that I love this plan and wish I had done it from the start for all the support you get etc!

    Starting a diary to make sure I eat all my points as it seems like I'm eating to much and often I fall short of the 35 points it says I need to maintain- I have joined online and use the iPhone app which is fab!

    So a bit about me- I'm 24, live with my boyfriend in kent! Currently taking time out to do a legal secretary diploma which has always been my dream job! Started at 13.5 stones and currently 8.10.

    Today- 6th June- plan

    Breakfast

    40g weetabix mini 4pp
    Apple 0pp
    Weight watchers summer fruit yog 1pp

    Lunch
    Warby thin 3pp
    With tuna pate and cucumber 2pp
    Aldi wholegrain bites 3pp
    Weight watchers mixed seed and oat biscuit 2pp
    Nectarine 0pp

    Tea
    Weight watchers bacon quiche 9pp
    Broccoli 0pp
    Peas 2pp

    Snacks

    Weight watchers caramel wafer bar 2pp with my latte as it's my long day at college from costa 2pp skinny hazelnut !

    So this adds up to 30 and it is just sooooo much stuff I feel like a pig! Sorry for long old post! X

    Hi Lovebeing slimmer. How I'd love to be where you are . Well done on getting to your goal.

    When I started propoints about 8 weeks ago I couldnt believe the amount of food i could eat either but I am loosing away gradually and that suits me fine. In your case You should be able to eat all 49 weeklies and still maintain if not loose. you will know in a few weeks how your body is reacting . I think your dailies increase as well when you are maintaining on this plan .. check that out.

    This maintaing lark is sooo so tricky! I'm finding if I eat more than 31 points a day I gain and this is no weeklys btw! Thinking I may need a big blow out to reset the metabolism or something as I have been super strict for what seems like forever!

    So I mentioned to my oh I fancy some bournville so he bought a huge bar so going to have a few squares of that and treat myself at the carvery tomoro!

    Why is there no weeklies when i change mine thing online to maintain it still gives me weeklies who said there isnt ?? X

    I still keep to 29 a day. .still use my weeklies. .I was told they go up also!

    Sorry I meant u don't use them, well very rarely anyway! Think I have used about 9 one week, so afraid of them! So if your maintaining how Many points do you find you can eat if you don't mind me asking!

    I don't use them not you!! Silly phone! I think I may need to indulge a bit more then every now and then!!

    Food for today

    B- c nut cornflakes 3pp
    Ww toffee yog and banana 1pp

    L- baxters carrot and butterbean soup 6pp
    Jacobs cheddars 2pp
    Fruit salad

    Snack- 3x dark choc rice cakes

    D- waitrose haloumi and lentil salad 9pp
    Bns wedges

    Milk 2pp

    And guess I'll have a pud of some sorts!
    I'm rubbish at using points and stuff coming from the Cambridge diet!!

    Hiya I'm just going in to Maintaining soon and I'm scared lol.....I was told to add one or two pp on to each day and see how I go. She said I should still use my 49pp. When I was lossing I HAD to eat all 29 and most of my 49 to get a good loss. I find it scary to have to use more pp incase I gain. My leader said there is no set rule for maintaining because people need to find what works for them. She said alot of people stick to the 29 during the week because they are used to it and take a day off at the weekend, or allow themselves extra pp each weekend day with the 49. I really don't know were to start........

    I wish you luck with it! I have never been to group just joined online so just play it by ear but am so wary! I feel like a failure if I got half a lb up! My oh says switch back to non diety food but I kind of feel safe with my ww yogs if you see what I mean!! Sounds silly!

    Yeah know what you mean. I'm scared to put on anything (unless I've had a weekend away) incase it disheartens me and I loss it and put the weight back on. It's scary isn't it. And just eat what you like, if you like the ww products use them. Me personally I hate buying any ww stuff because it's so overpriced. Some of the super markets own brand low fat stuff is the same pp and half the price. x

    I lost my reply I had written out :( was really scary when I first started maintaining and the thoughts of putting up weigh terrified me. .I only use 29 a day still but if I do blow out its for one day and back on track the following day. There's a great thread here for gold members. I still only eat same foods and hubby doesn't understand why but no way am I putting that weight back on

    So do you just stick with it 6 days and have one off or did you just naturally stop lossing on the 29 and 49pp??

    Thanks all for making me feel normal! I just hope one day my weight won't be the main topics of my thoughts! Just never though I'd ever be skinny!!!

    I carried on losing and list another 11lbs.I'm between 9st now and 9st2. I eat 29 everyday .only on special occasions I'd go over

    Are you still losing then if you haven't upped you pp. And do you not usually use your 49. Sorry little confused....

    So today I was at a wedding fair for a friend who is getting married, so me and the other bridesmaids went for lunch at a country pub and I didn't think about points for once yay!!

    B- 2x weetabix with mashed banana 3
    Shape zero straw yog 2pp

    Lunch @ pub- gorgeous cottage pie, mixed veg, not sure how many points but not bothered! Really rich gravy!
    Didn't allow myself a pud though!

    Dinner- fancied cereal!
    Fruit and fibre- about 80g if I'm honest so 8pp
    Apple
    Orange

    No I'm not losing anymore. .got to goal in april and carried on losing till aug.so maintaining since then. .I've only ever used about 30 weeklies as I felt 49 was too much
