My Weightloss Diary by mum_of_one :) !!

Awww thanks guys. I wanted more but lets face it I ate for england yesterday! Honestly I did. So really got to be soooo good now till next weigh in.

Archie and I been to allotment today watering plants, off to get some more bits for his party as he is 3 next weekend. Having a big party for him so getting stuff still. I keep forgetting things!

At home now as little A asleep so I am about to make a big salad from produce from the allotment. Cant wait.

Good day today points wise. I feel quite full as ate lots of veggies and its really filled me up.

So hot here, I hate the heat. I dont fair well in sweaty heat. I like dry heat really like vegas. Its so arrid there. Here we just sweat! Lovely! ha ha

Anyway... Archie asleep so thought I would surf the net. Contemplating buying the Biggest Loser dvd. Cant decided whether to.

I am thinking I will buy it. Treat myself. I dont myself much. I think it will be a good purchase as they worked them hard on the prog.

Gonna be another hot one. Got some of my food planned for today:

Break : Strawberry, oat and soya smoothie

Lunch : Jacket Pot with salad and tofu

Dinner : Aubergine curry

Well another day down. God I have to count it day by day you know. So hard.

Had a good day with food. Had my aubergine and spinach curry with quinoa. Tasted yum.

I have a few megre points left over!!

I struggling at mo with snacking its gettin silly - need a kick up the bum or I'm gonna spoil all my hard work of last 11 months :D

I was a dietary vegan which basically means I did the diet of a vegan for health reasons. I dont wear leather or buy leather products either but I am not as hardcore as some people.

But I decided a little while ago to include eggs in my diet as I missed them so much. I only have a couple a week but its less restrictive for me. I dont eat cheese, milk or meat and fish though. Having egg means I can have an omelette or boiled egg or poached now and then and also if its in something else like a cake LOL its ok for me to have.

How you doing? I find the snack problem hard to. I just fancy sweet food all the time.

My latest thing I have each morning is a strawberry oat smoothie. I can honestly say it fills me up for about 6 hours. Its amazing. Try it...

I soak 60g of oats overnight in 400ml soya milk (tesco one) to make them really soft and then in the morning pop them in my blender with two heaped dessert spoons of splenda, then a massive handful of strawbs and whizz away. Honestly no hungerr for about 6 hours. It shocked me cos I am a greedy cow ha ha ha

The breakie sounds reallly nice and if it fills you up for 6 hours that sounds brill! My manager at work has something similar she brings in each morn in a little plastic box think she calls it swiss bircher - she is mega fit and really looks after herself!

I'm gonna give that a go - how many points does it work out as?

Hi chuck

You would be suprised at what you can eat as a vegan, there is so much. Truthfully. My son still eats some fish as its not his choice to be border/vegan, its mine. However his basic diet is more veggie/vegan. He has fish but he only drinks soya milk like me and has eggs too.

Ok so smoothie is as follows:

Tesco soya milk. Its only 0.5 pt for 100ml. Lowest out there and it tastes lovely. Its in a blue carton in their long life section or fresh.

So thats 400 ml which is 2 pts, the oats I use are White's oats from Waitrose as they are ultra creamy but flahavans are good too. I use 2 sachets of whites which is 60g - 3pts and I use a handful of stawbs which I calc at 0.5 I dont often count fruit to be honest. Plus two heaped dessertsp of splenda.

So all in all its 5.5 but it makes two massive huge glasses of it but I drink it over the period of half hour really.

So good for you and such a good start. Despite being overweight (this is going to sound mad) I eat very healthily, just eat too much cos I am a greedy cow! LOL

P.s. the key to creamyness is soaking the oats overnight in the soya milk then tipping it all in blender in morning. Its lush
 
Thanks - I'm really gonna give that a go as it sounds good! Plus I'm not a breakie fan only started forcing oats so simple down me since i started WW so a drink would be easier and I could take it to work with me to have later in morn which would suit me better.

Dont worry hon, some weeks I get that and I usually give up but this time I must not. I went to a Mr Men party with Archie today and there was tons of party food but I ate nothing. Very proud of myself, also though there was nothing I could really eat anyway. I eat weird stuff LOL

I got home though famished and have gone over my points a little so got to reign it in tomorrow. I find that if I leave it too long between meals I go nuts so got to curb it.

I havent had time to post till now this weekend. Been busy. Monday again tomorrow!!!

Well its soooo bloody hot. I hate it!!!

Day going well. Had my oat smoothie and staying on track todeay. Saturday will be hard as its little Archie's 3rd birthday party so food is going to be in abundance! Arrgghhh... I shall have to ration.
