Returning Will Do It This Time

Hi all,
I'm back after 6 mths. I tried CD end Aug last year for 1wk but made the mistake of not cutting carbs beforehand.The side effects were bad ie:hunger,lack of energy,cold,very low moods etc. I just couldn't continue. But now I'm ready,I cut out carbs gradually over last 2 wks and used up spare CD satchets I had left over that were not out of date. Saw my CDC today to get fresh supply's and realised I had lost 1st already!!! I am annoyed with myself for giving up as I would have had a lot of weight off by now and not spent another xmas being big!!! But New Year and New Start!! Good Luck to everyone else, so glad I have this site, takes your mind off food!:D

Hi baby jane.. goodluck. Im starting today and feelin so down about the whole shake business. kepp tellin myself this diet works, has worked in the past for me and will again if i stick to it. xx

Good luck ladies. This is day 4 for me and so far so good. I've got my head into the right place (hoping it stays there for the duration) and focussing on a thin summer. As with a lot of people, money is tight for us so whilst OH is fully supportive he has made it quite clear that if i dont stick to it i've to stop as soon as i cheat. We,ve been really busy socially since Christmas but the next few weeks are very quiet so hopefully i can keep my head down and see it through.

Hi all,
Thanks for your reply's,it's been a tough afternoon, OH was fed up with me as I was really tired and suggested I eat some protein but I want to try and make SS work. I find cooking for the family really hard as well,I had to quickly give the kids left overs to my dogs before I was tempted to nibble!!! I find some days better than others, this one being hard!

I've told my fiance that he has to be ridiculously hard on me. Cruel to be kind. No matter what excuse I give he can't let me get away with anything.

I too was really annoyed at myself that if I had carried on in my first attempt in November i'd be at goal by now but now i'm just thinking to the future and not the past.
