Hey there! I've just read through your food diary and wanted to say hello, we're also on the trying to conceive-baby-making-boat! :) It's not been the funnest of times but fingers crossed this year will be the year. :D

So Thursday. It didn't go so well. Awful day at work, had to stay late at work, home at 2100. Left the house at 0615. Loooong day. Chicken in the fridge had gone off. Slipped off the wagon. Again :confused:

January 28th 2016 - THURSDAY - day shift

Dinner - this is where it all fell apart. I comfort ate. No hiding.

I haven't looked into it, and don't want to. I'll not count today and move on. Low syns for the next 4 days then off to Iceland so not going to will just make decent choices there. And start again on the 9th February!! Hopefully don't put on tonnes on holiday.

Really need to get back on the wagon. Think because we're going away next week we aren't in the right frame of mind. My husband was shattered, starving and late home last night after a terrible day with the weather and commuting disruption. We just could face cooking. I had a few glasses of wine as well. Weighed myself this morning and just 0.3kg gain and am very constipated so hopefully that will go soon! Sorry for TMI!
 
January 30th 2016 - SATURDAY - day off

January 31st 2016 - SUNDAY -day off

  • Tunnocks tea cake (5.5)
Dinner - all went wrong again! We've become lazy on our holidays!!

So that's it for now. I will be back in a week to start again after our holidays. Didn't meet my Iceland target but I feel happier and more healthy. Will make not too bad choices in Iceland but really just going to enjoy ourselves!

Have an amazing time! We went to Iceland last year (in the Summer though!) and it's the most beautiful country ever. Not very Slimming World friendly, but if you're a fan of movies and burgers I'd definitely recommend checking out The Big Lebowski bar on the highstreet... they do amazing shakes too! :D
 
I'm back!

Iceland was absolutely amazing. Had the time of our lives! But I put on 2.7kg :oops::eek:

Back on it starting today, and with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and positivity!

February 8th 2016 - MONDAY - annual leave

Quick breakfast as nothing in the house, woke up late and needed to go and pick up the cat from her 'cat hotel'!!

Breakfast - 1100

Picked up the cat and took her home then desperately needed to do a food shop so we went to Tesco which is next to a Subway. We had a quick lunch there before we went shopping!

Lunch - 1330

  • Lettuce, cucumber, red onion, jalapeños, gherkins (S)

  • Southwest sauce (5)
Snack - 1430
  • 3 tsp Skyr cherry yoghurt
Basically just tasting my husbands snack. Delicious!! And very low syn!

  • Satsuma (S)
Dinner - 1830
  • Chicken Fajitas in lettuce wraps
  1. Chicken
  2. Mixed herbs, piri piri seasoning, paprika, chipotle paste
  3. Peppers, onions, garlic, sweet gem lettuce leaves (S)
  4. 2 tbsp 0% Creme Fraiche (1)
  5. Homemade Guacamole - Avocado, chilli flakes, lime juice (4)
  6. 30g cheddar cheese (A)

We will be drinking a couple of glasses of Champagne tonight as it's our Wedding Anniversary and not going to Syn it ;) but it's a big treat for a special day and we've not done anything special at all so far! Except the holiday - obviously!! :cool:

Weighed myself this morning and down to 109.3kg again?? How can it vary so much? Had champagne last night that I didn't syn?! Weird.
